Let Them Come: Onslaught is a Sci-Fi Survivors-like Coming to Xbox Series X|S This Year
Developer Tuatara Games has announced Let Them Come: Onslaught, a sequel to 2017’s Let Them Come, which ditches the side-on gun turret in a corridor gameplay for a top-down sci-fi horror experience more akin to Vampire Survivors.
Digital Bandidos have developed a fresh game that plops you onto an alien planet swarming with terrifying creatures. The only escape route? Blow the entire place sky-high from above. Acquiring new weapons and upgrades increases your odds of staying alive, but ultimately your destiny is sealed as the clock ticks down to zero, heralding the arrival of a nuclear blast that flattens the battlefield.
Hordes of deadly alien creatures and a changing environment plagued by lightning storms, volcanic eruptions, and other dangerous phenomena can turn the tide for better or worse, as you brave Onslaught‘s new take on the Survivors-like formula, and enjoy the 1980s VHS aesthetic.
Title “Let Them Come: Onslaught” will feature multiple playable characters, each with unique abilities and traits, a range of weapons and enhancements, and music by Cartridge 1987. It’s set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC at some point in this year.
