ARK: Lost Colony Expansion Coming in November With Events Leading into ARK 2

Studio Wildcard has revealed a trailer for ARK: Lost Colony, the first “all-original” expansion for ARK: Survival Ascended, which will cover events leading into the long-gestating ARK 2.

The new trailer offers a glimpse at the “cinema-grade” anime story sequences from Japanese animation studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man) that will feature in the expansion. Also, Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Everything Everywhere All At Once) stars in the upcoming DLC as Mei Yin, alongside Madeleine Madden (Wheel of Time) as Helena Walker.

Auli’i Cravalho will be lending her voice to Meeka in addition to other beloved characters yet to be unveiled at a later time. In ARK: Lost Colony, you will encounter new challenges as you evade pursuit in an expansive occupied city. You’ll discover impressive new abilities, distinctive gear, construction systems, and rare tames along the way.

“Will Survivors be able to face down the demons lurking in Arat Prime, and connect ARK‘s past and future?” You’ll be able to find out in November 2025, when ARK: Lost Colony launches for ARK: Survival Ascended on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, priced $29.99. Pre-orders go live this June.
