Kendrick Lamar Earns New Billboard Hot 100 Career High With “luther”
Kendrick Lamar and SZA are breaking a new career milestone with their song “luther,” spending its fourth consecutive week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“luther” now serves as Dot’s longest-reigning chart-topper on the Hot 100, overtaking his “Not Like Us” and “Like That” records of three nonconsecutive week each. He previously led the chart for a week each with “squabble up,” “HUMBLE.” and “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift.
Meanwhile, SZA continues to extend her record for her longest No. 1 reign after topping the Hot 100 with Drake on “Slime You Out” and her own “Kill Bill.”
In the span of March 7 to March 13, “Luther” accumulated a grand total of 55.6 million radio airplay impressions, 31.3 million on-demand streams, and managed physical sales of 3,000 units. The album “Luther,” which goes by the name GNX, slipped one spot this week to take the No.2 position, as Lady Gaga’s “MAYHEM” climbed up to claim the top spot.
