Married At First Sight Star’s Heartbreaking Dance with Dad Steals the Show at Rural Wedding

Ashley Irvin, who gained fame on Married At First Sight, recently tied the knot with her fiancé Choco O’Dwyer in a breathtaking countryside wedding, just a month after their engagement.

On Monday, a 36-year-old nurse posted a series of pictures from their wedding day onto her Instagram account.

In a single scene, the newly married couple can be observed gazing tenderly into each other’s eyes while standing in an open, grassy enclosure next to a wooden fence.

Ashley looks absolutely radiant, dressed as a sparkling fairytale bride in a wedding gown with a deep V-neck.

She added a regal touch to the look with a fashionable tiara. 

Simultaneously, Choco exuded elegance while wearing a sharp navy blue suit combined with a clean white dress shirt and an identical tie.

In different scenes, the affectionate pair can be spotted holding hands outside amidst the setting sun, later moving to an enclosed space where they passionately locked lips in a warm embrace.

Towards the end of the evening, Ashley had a heartwarming dance with her dear father, surrounded by their loved ones who watched on.

The couple captioned the images: ‘Mr & Mrs O’Dwyer. 15 March 2025’. 

In the comment area, Ashley shared details about her brief engagement and emphasized that each moment spent with her ailing father was priceless.

‘We needed to plan the wedding before the engagement so he could be there and walk me down the aisle,’ she told her followers. 

Ashley opened up about her father’s health in a heartbreaking post in 2023. 

‘It hit me pretty hard finding out my dad had Alzheimer’s, but over these past few months it’s hard to hide it or pretend it doesn’t affect myself or the family as it is getting worse,’ she wrote at the time.

‘I wish I could say it’s going to get better, but sadly it’s the opposite,’ she continued, before adding, ‘a massive shout out’ to her mother Steph who has been a pillar of strength through it all. 

Asley and Choco went public with their relationship in April 2023.

He proposed earlier this year with a radiant cut diamond set on a thin gold band.

Choco got down on one knee in front of a cascading waterfall.

‘Best Valentines Day Ever. I said, ‘Yes,” Ashley wrote alongside a series of images. 

On season five of Married at First Sight, Ashley got matched with Troy Delmege. However, their relationship didn’t last until the show ended.
