Mark Wright pays tribute to “super human” wife Michelle Keegan

Former TOWIE star Mark Wright has paid tribute to his wife Michelle Keegan, calling her a “super human” following the birth of their baby.

Mark and Fool Me Once actor Michelle welcomed their baby daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright earlier this month, with the couple announcing the happy news via a post on Instagram.

Opening up about life as a first-time dad on his Saturday Breakfast show on Heart, Mark described becoming a father as his “biggest achievement”.

He told his friend Olly Murs, “To be honest, it’s quite challenging to express, but this is the greatest accomplishment I’ve ever had, and it’s constantly on my mind.

“But obviously hats go off to my wife. She is an absolute super human, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.

“It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through.”

Speaking about his newborn daughter, Mark said: “It’s the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face.”

Elsewhere, Mark recalled the moment he first met baby Palma, saying: “That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it… It’s a very special feeling. I can’t really put it into words. We’ve waited a little bit of time, we’ve chased our dreams and our careers and now we’re here. We’ve got a baby.”

Mark is currently at the studio, but he deeply misses his family. In a few hours, he will return home to them. He plans to call his child on FaceTime soon to check on him.
