White Lotus’ Aimee Lou Wood reveals scariest scenes to shoot
Actress Aimee Lou Wood from “The White Lotus” series shared her most terrifying moments on set, stating that they weren’t related to the intimate scenes.
Speaking to The Sun, Wood, who stars as Chelsea in season 3 of the hit HBO drama, said that filming poolside in a bikini left her feeling more nervous than filming sex scenes.
“I was more worried about just being around the pool because I feel like that’s when you’re thinking more about how you look,” Wood recalled.
In an intimate scenario, focus is on the emotional connection. However, one must put that aside and move on. Interestingly, the bikini scenes were what truly terrified me.
In a recent interview, Walton Goggins, who plays Wood’s boyfriend Rick Hatchett in the show, shared that he had to confront one of his own fears while filming.
On an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, Goggins confessed his fear of snakes, sharing that the initial encounter where he had to interact with one made him break down in tears.
“I had the snake handler right off camera because when I picked up the snake for the very first time, I started crying. Like uncontrollably,” he said
In the show, Rick and Chelsea leave the White Lotus resort in Thailand to visit the local town where they attend a snake show. Rick, who is high, attempts to free the snakes before one bites Chelsea.
As per Goggins’ account, an incident analogous occurred when a snake bit him on the movie set, following his action of handling it.
“I started to pull the green one and as I was pulling the snake out he didn’t want to come. So the snake turns around and he bit me. I haven’t told that story to anybody,” he said.
In the United Kingdom, “The White Lotus” can be found on Sky Atlantic and streamed on Sky Go and NOW. Each new episode of season 3 becomes available every Monday. In the United States, it is broadcast on HBO and can also be streamed on Max.
