Madeleine West’s Stunning Bohemian Baby Shower: A Glimpse into Her ‘Mother’s Blessing’!

Madeleine West recently offered a peek into her boho-themed baby shower that took place last weekend, in anticipation of the upcoming arrival of her seventh child.

On Sunday, the actress-turned-activist, 45, took to Instagram to share a slew of pictures of her ‘Mother’s Blessing‘ while surrounded by friends and family. 

At the baby shower, Madeleine elegantly donned a vibrant green bohemian tie-dye outfit, beautifully accentuating her expanding belly.

She accessorised the emerald green ensemble with large dangly earrings, a matching hairband and a huge smile on her face.

The former Neighbours star was simply glowing in a dewy makeup look and she left her hair in natural waves.

She captioned the sweet post: ‘Blessed…. So happy to be surrounded by my incredible tribe.

I hadn’t encountered the enchantment of a Mother’s Blessing ceremony previously, but it surpassed my expectations in every way. It offered a profound sense of connection, shared understanding, and celebration of life’s many aspects.

She finished off the post with: ‘I feel like an empress, and so very beloved,’ adding, ‘Cannot wait for you all to meet my little one.’

Additional photos captured sweet messages penned by the baby shower guests and a tradition involving roses, rose quartz, candles, and dried blossoms.

In January, Madeleine shared on Instagram, with great emotion, the news that she was expecting her seventh child.

In the photograph, the woman with dark hair showcased her expanding belly in a snug grey tank top, which she’d raised slightly to expose her uncovered stomach.

‘WHOOPS!’ she captioned her post. ‘Thought it was #perimenopause. I thought WRONG!’

‘It’s not too much Christmas pudding either. And I couldn’t be happier.

Although I have reservations about the label “Elderly mother,” nonetheless, the situation finds me in it, and I am slowing down a tad to nurture this tiny bundle of joy that I affectionately call it. (Seventh baby on the way, I just couldn’t resist).

‘At the moment, I don’t have many thoughts to share, but I’ve observed that older parents often go unmentioned. I’m aware you exist and make significant contributions. Sometimes it feels like we are overlooked.’

The actress sought advice from her followers as she prepares for her seventh journey into motherhood.

‘So if you’re expecting later than expected, and tackling early in your 40s or 50s, I’d LOVE hear your stories,’ she added.

‘I’d love any tips you care to share. Like how the heck do you get all the #baby paraphernalia together again after you’ve given it all away????

Madeleine already shares six children with her ex-partner, celebrity chef Shannon Bennett, 49.

The actress and her ex Shannon split after 13 years together in 2018, with Madeleine later stating the separation process ‘turned love toxic’.

Two years after their split, she decided to relocate from Melbourne to the Byron Bay region so she could be close to her six kids. She purchased a $4.6 million property with stunning views of Tallow Beach as her new home.
