MAFS Star Michael Brunelli’s Shocking Makeover: ‘Had a Meltdown’ Over New Look!

Michael Brunelli has ditched his long hair and bushy beard for the ultimate makeover. 

The Married at First Sight star showed his fans the process this week, during which he had his brows waxed and his facial hair sheared down. 

The 33-year-old then went and got a haircut – the result being a sleek and polished look. 

‘Brows sorted. Now for the hair’ he wrote in his caption, before explaining he had his locks done at Komo hairdresser in Preston, Victoria.

The former reality star admitted that the process involved a bit of emotional turmoil for him. 

‘Despite the fact that I had a complete meltdown about cutting my hair off, I actually love the new look’ he wrote. 

After Michael and his partner Martha Kalifatidis decided to leave behind the sparkle and opulence of the Melbourne Cup Festival.

On Instagram, Michael posted a collection of videos and photos featuring himself, along with Martha (age 36) and Lucius, engaging in various fun-filled activities. Meanwhile, partygoers were dancing enthusiastically during the Derby Day event at Flemington Racecourse.

And they certainly packed a lot in, with son Lucius, one having the time of his life doing some backyard chores and landscaping with dad. 

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I recently noticed something intriguing. A sharp-eyed fan pointed out that Michael might have tied the knot secretly, as he was spotted wearing a band on his ring finger. It sparked curiosity among us all! Could it be true? Only time will tell.

Michael was quick to dispel the rumour with: ‘No secret wedding, I just wore it on that finger without thinking.’     

Others were quick to gush over the family post and in particular cute-as-a-button Lucius.

One admirer described him as a very joyful, satisfied, attractive young lad, while another agreed, saying he’s incredibly cute and small.

During the sixth season of Married at First Sight in 2019, I became smitten with Michael and we fell deeply in love. Our bond grew stronger as we navigated the challenges of the show together, and last year, we were blessed with our beautiful son, Lucius.

They regularly attend Melbourne Cup Carnival events, and on the occasion of the 2022 Melbourne Cup, Martha went, accompanied by her mother Mary, while she was pregnant with Lucius.

The next year, Martha and Michael showcased their fashion sense at the G.H Mumm Derby Day party.

Martha recently hit back at online trolls who accused her of sponging off her parents.

At the present moment, Martha, Michael, and Lucius reside under the same roof as Martha’s parents, Mary and Theo, in their residence situated in Melbourne.

In September, the celebrity responded to a curious query from a follower on Instagram without holding back in her reply.

They suggested that you and Michael should cover your own expenses, just as most people do, given the circumstances surrounding your family’s current housing situation.

Martha made clear that she wasn’t living off her parents as some claimed, explaining that her choice to reside with Theo and Mary was not driven by financial reasons.

‘Our living arrangement has nothing to do with money,’ she wrote.

‘The sad thing is you probably believe we live with my parents to capitalise off of the situation. That is the furthest [thing] from the truth.’

She added that her young family’s current living situation was beneficial to all involved.

‘In reality, we mutually enjoy it,’ she said.

Sharing a home with multiple generations, including my parents, strengthens our bonds, encourages reciprocal care, and cultivates an enriching atmosphere where knowledge and life experiences intertwine. This living arrangement also contributes to their joy.
