We at GamingonPhone had an opportunity to interview Mr. Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO India who talked to us about the brand’s vision with Indian Esports, and how iQOO plans to act as a catalyst for the next generation of esports talent across India from the tier-2 and tier-3 cities with its latest device iQOO Neo 10R.
iQOO’s plans to deliver high-performance gaming devices for tier-2 and tier-3 cities with the launch of Neo 10R
When asked about IQOO’s plans with its latest powerhouse, Nipun Marya emphasized the brand’s motto, “In iQOO we believe in high-performance smartphones“. Stressing on iQOO’s DNA of delivering “Peak Performance“, he agreed on the fact that everyone can’t afford a flagship. Hence comes the brand’s latest device, iQOO Neo 10R with which Nipun plans to “provide the best possible performance at every price point.”

Nipun confirmed iQOO’s promise to its consumers that irrespective of the mobile’s price, the phone’s performance will be exceptionally good. With NEO standing for Superlative Gaming, he added, “For the first time, iQOO is launching a device for 25,000 INR because our consumers have given us feedback of desiring an excellent gaming experience but at an affordable price point” and hence comes the NEO 10R.
He later added that the “Neo 10R has been designed specifically for college students and young gamers to offer an affordable yet powerful gaming device“. Hence with this, the brand aims to help players from smaller cities compete at higher levels, showing its commitment to developing esports talent.
iQOO aims to differentiate itself with its performance and not only with its price point
We asked him how iQOO plans to continue holding a stronghold in the smartphone market besides its availability and price point with an increase in competition from its peers. Nipun went straight in declaring, “iQOO has always believed in providing the best performance and esports experience” where prices haven’t always been the core competing factor.
He further referred to iQOO’s latest powerhouse Neo 10R, saying, “You are getting the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, best haptic feedback, touch sampling experience, and an excellent cooling system, all at the 25,000 INR (288 USD) price point.”
Additionally, he mentioned, “The iQOO Neo 10R has a 6,400 mAh battery in a phone that does not feel heavy, weighs less than 200 grams, with a slimmer body of less than 8mm, and comes with bypass charging”. Nipun ended by saying, there’s no other phone that can truly compete with the Neo 10R across all fronts along with the added price point.
