Regrettably, the Star Wars: Hunters team has announced that they will be closing down the game on October 1, 2025. They expressed their understanding that this news might be disheartening and wanted players to know that this decision was not taken lightly.
You can play as Tuya, the new Support Hunter for free and compete in a final Ranked Mode leaderboard
Prior to the system closure, the last content update for Star Wars: Hunters will be released on April 15, 2025. This update will halt all in-game transactions across all platforms. However, the silver lining is that you’ll be able to enjoy playing the new character, Tuya, who is a Support Hunter, for free, along with extra game content. Furthermore, developers have confirmed the introduction of a final Ranked Mode leaderboard as well.
On March 25, 2025, there will be a three-week extension of Season 5, featuring re-runs of events and special shop bundles. Moreover, the Ranked Season is also being extended, providing you extra time to reach the Kyber 1 rank if you wish to. You’ll get to savor the game until its final shutdown date.
It’s disheartening to learn that a game derived from such a large intellectual property is closing its doors, more so now as the anticipated PC version has been scrapped too. Although some enthusiasts are saddened by the announcement, others have voiced their disapproval towards the developers’ focus on mobile gaming initially.
