Cardi B Shares Adorable Photo of Baby Amid Offset’s Custody Battle in Ugly Divorce
Cardi B recently posted an uncommon photo on social media featuring her six-month-old child, during the challenging period of her separation from the child’s father, Offset.
From the perspective of a lifestyle advisor, I’d say: Ever since the beginning of 2017, my personal journey with Offset has been a rollercoaster ride, filled with ups and downs. We’ve created beautiful memories together, welcoming our precious daughter Kulture into our world at six years old, our energetic son Wave at three, and most recently, our little one. It’s been an incredible experience, despite the challenges we’ve faced along the way.
Last summer marked the final separation for the pair, as Cardi B, aged 32, initiated divorce proceedings against Offset while expecting their newest addition.
On her Instagram Stories last Friday, Cardi B shifted the spotlight from her troubled marriage to her baby, who is speculated to be named either Blossom or Bloom.
She posted a photo showing her daughter almost crawling on all fours, and wrote in the caption: “My baby is so chubby!
The picture was revealed showing that Offset, aged 33, is seeking joint legal guardianship for the three kids he co-parents with his former spouse.
According to legal records obtained by TMZ, it appears that the Atlanta-born celebrity believes that the children’s main home should be with 32-year-old Cardi B.
Under his real name Kiari Cephus (also known as Offset), is requesting the court to clearly define the financial obligations for both parents regarding their child support responsibilities.
In my professional opinion, I suggest that any mutual assets accumulated during the marriage should be equitably distributed by the court. Additionally, it’s crucial to understand that each party may be responsible for covering their own legal expenses throughout this process.
For quite some time now, the on-again, off-again relationship between Offset and Cardi B has seen its share of ups and downs. Last summer marked the third instance where the artist behind “Bodak Yellow” decided to file for a separation.
On August 1st, Cardi B (originally known as Belcalis Almanzar) disclosed her pregnancy, following a filing made the previous day to end her marriage with a Migos band member.
In September 2020, she started the process for a divorce, but she changed her mind about it two months afterwards.
A representative informed People last summer that the recent submission wasn’t prompted by allegations of dishonesty, but instead, it had been in the works for quite some time.
Cardi B’s friend revealed to the media outlet that the divorce papers were a topic that they had been contemplating and discussing for some time.

Instead of saying it occurred suddenly or out of nowhere, the individual mentioned that the event didn’t happen all at once for her. Rather, she has maintained a composed demeanor throughout, prioritizing her children above all else.
She’s thrilled about the newborn and, as it happens, she’s documenting things, which means overall, she’s doing quite well.
For around a year or more, there have been problems between these long-time collaborating music artists.
Initially, the separation started on good terms, with Cardi B openly admiring Offset as an excellent father. However, the situation has since taken a turn for the worse.
The former partners’ heated arguments have extended to online platforms, where they post harsh and aggressive comments on social media.
In a heated exchange, Offset allegedly accused his ex of being single and unhappy. This remark sparked a response from her, stating, “I don’t interfere with the women you sleep with, but it seems that every man I converse with, you’re messaging or badmouthing me.
Earlier, Cephus stated that his delay in signing the divorce documents stems from his desire for Cardi to consent to sharing custody of their kids.
Following the heated breakup, there have been rumors suggesting a romantic connection between the artist known for “I Like It” and NFL player Stefon Diggs from the Houston Texans.
