Ellen DeGeneres is said to have put up for sale one of her last properties in the United States, as she’s resided permanently in the UK for the past four months.

67-year-old ex-TV personality, alongside her spouse Portia de Rossi, chose to move across the Atlantic Ocean following allegations about harmful conduct on her canceled talk show, which negatively impacted her career.

It appears that the couple doesn’t seem to be planning a return to the United States, as they are currently attempting to sell their two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in Montecito for a price of $5 million. They have put this California property on the market.

As reported by Realtor.com, Ellen and Portia listed their property for sale on the night of March 10, approximately four and a half years following their purchase at a price of $2.9 million.

This beautiful bungalow offers a total living area of 1,691 square feet. As mentioned in the advertisement, the private master suite comes equipped with its own private patio, a bathroom reminiscent of a spa, and ample closet space for storage.

The images reveal a roomy but uncomplicated kitchen, adorned with wooden cabinets all around and equipped with robust grey countertops, integrated appliances, and large windows offering a view of the lush garden outside.

The bedroom offers a convenient access to the outdoor area, boasting expansive sliding glass doors leading to a patio, and it allows ample sunlight to stream into the house due to its design.

As per the report, the announcement mentions that a good fence provides both privacy and tranquility. Meanwhile, the generously sized backyard is ideal for installing a swimming pool or a guest house, and it’s only a short distance from the beach, Coral Casino, and Lower Village.

Ellen and Portia made the choice to offload their property within just two months of listing yet another home in Montecito for sale.

Back in January, the pair relisted a five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom property for $29.9 million. 

In the countryside of southwest England, specifically in the Cotswolds region, Ellen and Portia call a farmhouse worth approximately $18 million their home. However, life hasn’t been entirely trouble-free for this pair.
