The 5 Best Runways at Paris Fashion Week FW25

For me, as a devoted fashion enthusiast, it’s always an exhilarating experience to witness the unveiling of new styles. The Fall/Winter 2025 season has drawn to a close, and just like every year, Fashion Month transported us from New York City and London to Milan and Paris for a series of breathtaking runway shows. It’s always a privilege to be among the first to lay eyes on these exquisite collections, immersing myself in the world of fashion’s elite.

Ice Spice and Chappell Roan made a big impression at the Front Row in Paris, establishing themselves as the newest fashion sensations. This season saw many changes among creative directors at top fashion houses. Miu Miu was the standout brand during Paris Fashion Week’s finale with an impressive lineup of celebrities on their runway, while Vivienne Westwood’s Andreas Kronthaler paid tribute to his late partner through a collection featuring 56 looks.

Matières Fécales turned their dreams into reality, moving from Depop to the catwalk and expanding their platform by selling unique items through resale fashion sites. Co-founders Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran made a splash at Paris Fashion Week with an extraterrestrial aesthetic, building upon the attention-grabbing stunts of Duran Lantink. Continue reading to explore the top 5 runway shows during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025.

Courrèges

At Paris Fashion Week (PFW), Nicolas Di Felice’s Courrèges consistently adds a dash of sexiness to the catwalk each season, and this was no exception for Fall-Winter 25. Courrèges was the life of the party at PFW, turning its runway into a confetti-filled celebration that brightened up the reimagined essentials in women’s fashion. A rainbow shower of confetti filled the air, powered by underfloor vents, accentuating Di Felice’s seductive collection designed for trendy women everywhere. From dresses wrapped around the body to edgy leather bombers and a finale dress without sleeves that turned heads, Courrèges demonstrated yet again that its runway presentations never disappoint.

Miu Miu

Miu Miu stands at the pinnacle of fashion, and we’re thrilled about it! Miuccia Prada remains uncontested as she rules the design realm. The transition from Prada to Miu Miu showcases the Italian designer’s ongoing ability to amaze us with some of the most impressive runway shows this season. At Paris Fashion Week, Miu Miu closed the afternoon shows with a glamorous runway graced by stars such as A$AP Rocky and Sydney Sweeney. The brand played with its youthful essence by subtly embracing maturity through oversized tailoring, vibrant uniforms, and an abundance of checkered patterns. Retro floral prints and lavish furs hinted at the 1960s, while a touch of luxury fur and flowery designs brought a nostalgic charm to the collection.

Duran Lantink

For this season, Duran Lantink caused quite a stir by incorporating real wildlife into their runway presentations, alongside thought-provoking comments about societal aesthetics. The Amsterdam and Paris-based label displayed its rebellious side through distorted shapes in vivid animal print designs, altering the body’s usual proportions using flared hip extensions and exaggerated necklines. In their FW25 collection, Duran Lantink showcased a variety of snakes, zebras, cows, and cheetahs, while their silicone chest pieces were the highlight, accentuating defined abs and enhanced chests.

Vivienne Westwood

For Fall-Winter 25, Vivienne Westwood paid an inspiring homage to number 19, maintaining the runway’s vibrancy with a mix of classic British wardrobe essentials. Andreas Kronthaler invigorated the brand’s iconic designs, featuring vivid tartans and infusing novelty into heavy winter wear, such as sparkling hoods, leather tracksuits, and more. The collection was a powerful display of affluence, with Ice Spice and Chappell Roan in attendance. Kronthaler presented a compelling showcase that embodied prosperity.

Matières Fécales

Founders Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran of Matières Fécale made their impressive Paris Fashion Week debut with a runway show that received widespread acclaim for its eerie vibe. After being invited to Dover Street Market Paris, they quickly gained recognition as an up-and-coming brand worth watching during their 10-year milestone. Before gracing the runway, Dalton and Bhaskaran sold unique pieces on Depop, demonstrating that dreams from childhood can indeed come true. From their distinctive alien-like makeup to striking apocalyptic designs and an unanticipated collaboration with Christian Louboutin, Matières Fécale could very well be the next fashion powerhouse.
