Ted Lasso confirms shock return news after doubts about the show’s future

The much-anticipated fourth season of “Ted Lasso” has been confirmed, putting an end to speculations about its continuation.

2023 saw a great disappointment among fans when they found out that the highly-adored Apple TV+ series would not continue beyond its third season.

Back in the summer, my buddy Bill Lawrence stirred up whispers about another season dropping, all dependent on whether Jason Sudeikis was game to step back into the shoes of our beloved football coach once more.

The news has been made official: Ted Lasso will indeed be back for more episodes, with Sudeikis set to reprise his role.

The star commented, “Given our tendency to always consider the consequences before taking action, which we’ve all learned in our lives, the team at AFC Richmond discovers a new approach in season four – they start jumping first and then find themselves in the right place, realizing it was their destined location all along.

Matt Cherniss, Apple TV+’s programming chief, commented: “Ted Lasso has proven to be an unstoppable force, sparking a devoted global audience and providing endless amusement, cheerfulness, and kindness. It also consistently embodies compassion and unfaltering faith.

As a devoted fan, I’m overjoyed to share that I’m delighted to carry on working alongside Jason and the genius team behind this outstanding series at Apple.

Previously, Warner Bros Television reserved the right to bring back actors Hannah Waddingham (as Rebecca Walton), Brett Goldstein (as Roy Kent), and Jeremy Swift (as Leslie Higgins). Thus, it’s reasonable to anticipate that they will reappear in season four.

Currently, Nick Mohammed (Nate Shelley) has given a clue about the cause for shifting his tour dates, suggesting that the production of Ted Lasso season four might be responsible for the change.

Ted Lasso seasons 1-3 are available to stream on Apple TV+. Season 4 is on the way.
