The creator of the upcoming Disney+ series Wonder Man shared that there was one subject he couldn’t talk about. Maintaining a consistent storyline has always been a challenge for Marvel Studios, but it became even harder after Avengers: Endgame. According to Wonder Man showrunner Andrew Guest, Marvel Studios intentionally avoids specific timelines in its projects. In an interview on The Brandon Davis Show, Guest explained that creatives are asked to be vague about past events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a core rule being to “never say the date.”

But, according to a leader from the Wonder Man production, this kind of direct setup is extremely uncommon.
