Salma Hayek, 58, Works Out Just 4 Times a Year and Craves Her 25-Year-Old Body!

In a recent conversation, Salma Hayek disclosed that she exercises only four times annually, demonstrating her agility during the discussion.

As a passionate admirer, I can’t help but notice the ageless grace of this 58-year-old Mexican American actress. Whether she’s turning heads at a glamorous red-carpet event or captivating us all in her bikini shots on Instagram, her age-defying figure never ceases to impress me!

As a devoted admirer of Salma, I understand the common belief that she must rigorously work out to preserve her stunning figure. Yet, contrary to popular opinion, Salma herself emphasizes that such strenuous gym routines are not a part of her lifestyle. Instead, she prefers to steer clear of exercises like running.

In an interview with Marie Claire, Salma showcased her flexibility and charm in a lace bodysuit for a captivating photoshoot. She candidly discussed her minimal fitness regimen and her innate agility, emphasizing that she remains active in performing all of her own stunts.

Salma went on to say, “Every four months, I play some music while I walk on my personal treadmill. Please don’t expect me to run, as my physique isn’t designed for it.

She expressed satisfaction with her figure, stating that she’s happy with it and has no wish for anyone else’s physique or a different one herself.

Despite appearing fantastic and feeling great, the Without Blood actress confessed that she still longs for the physique she had when she was 25 years old.

She admitted, “I yearn for the physique I once had when I was 25; the one I constantly criticized and despised. Alas, dear Lord Jesus, could you restore it to me? I offer my apologies.

During the interview, Salma shared that as she’s matured, she no longer identifies solely with being ‘sexy.’ Instead, she has broadened her opportunities and taken on roles that aren’t solely dependent on her looks as she’s grown older.

At one point, I was known as the charming, attractive woman, but I’m grateful that time passed and allowed me to broaden my horizons. Despite still embodying my charm and finding beauty in it, I continue to explore new areas.

She emphasized that it’s important to remember that women are not discardable at a particular stage in life, regardless of the field. She urged all women to fight against this perception with our utmost efforts.

1989 marked the start of Hayek’s journey in entertainment, where she initially made small acting appearances. It wasn’t until 1995 that she broke through with her notable role as Carolina in Desperado.

In 2002, she took on a memorable character when she played Frida Kahlo in the film named after the artist herself, Frida.

Salma’s portrayal of the famous Mexican artist earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress.

From that point forward, Salma not only continued her successful acting career, but also established herself as a renowned film producer as well, earning accolades along the way.

More recently, she acted alongside Channing Tatum in the movie “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” which hit theaters in February 2023.

Salma previously opened up about getting older in a 2023 interview with Glamour magazine. 

She expressed that she initially believed aging would mean no longer working, but she’s currently employed. Similarly, she assumed age might diminish feelings of love, yet she is happily in love. This remark was made in reference to her partner, the French billionaire François-Henri Pinault.

She noted that ‘everything’ about the aging process is different than she imagined.

Instead of losing my flexibility, agility, or strength, I haven’t noticed any decline in these areas as I grow older. What I will say, however, is that growing older alongside someone has been a truly beautiful experience for me.

In her 30s, this woman faced a profound, philosophical struggle, and she has a single child named Valentina with Pinault. Later, she recalled this experience.

It seems as if she’s expressing a sense of despair, saying something along the lines of, “I feel like I’ll never achieve all that I want in life, and it feels impossible for me to find happiness with a partner or start a family. Right now, I feel like I have nothing.

For many women of my era, it felt as if they had only a brief window of opportunity to become mothers, with the sentiment being, “If I don’t bear a child within the next few minutes, I may never have the chance to be a mother.

Salma welcomed her daughter, her only child, in 2007 at age 41.
