Death in Paradise finale delayed in BBC schedule shake-up
Death in Paradise‘s upcoming finale has been delayed as part of a BBC schedule change next week.
Instead, Comic Relief will take over BBC One’s schedule where Season 14’s finale, originally set for March 21st, was meant to air.
Consequently, fans should anticipate the upcoming episode to be broadcast a week later on March 28, which coincidentally is when the spin-off series Beyond Paradise resumes its airing. Meanwhile, the penultimate episode of Death in Paradise for this season will still go ahead as scheduled tonight.
Fans can expect more of the Death in Paradise world during Red Nose Day next week. Interestingly, a spin-off titled Beyond Paradise will intertwine with Lee Mack’s comedy series Not Going Out.
Discussing the upcoming sketch, where the cast of “Not Going Out” will create havoc at the coast, lead actress Sally Bretton hinted: “It was a blast to have both realms intersect, portray my own twin, and get carried away by the craziness that accompanies such a role.
It was an exceptional experience to contribute to the remarkable charity, Comic Relief. Filming the skit happened so swiftly that we were unsure of our direction. I’m still amazed at how Lee Mack manages to juggle all the fast-paced elements in his mind.
“We all had a great day filled with fun, confusion and belly laughs.”
Actor Kris Marshall remarked, “There’s nothing more enjoyable than blending humor with the chance to aid numerous deserving charities through Comic Relief.
Furthermore, by blending elements from two popular British TV series, I’ll become a minor piece in this year’s entertaining mix of humor, merriment, and charity events.
Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradise, both air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
