Stellar Blade is set to run smoother than ever on PC as its multi-frame generation support promises to triple its frame rate, as long as you have the pricey hardware needed
In about a month, Stellar Blade, which was initially released last year, is set to debut on PC. Moreover, it has been officially announced that this action RPG will be fully compatible with the most recent Nvidia technology from day one, ensuring a smoother and more vibrant frame rate than ever before.
Prior to the launch of Stellar Blade’s PC version in June, Nvidia has verified that it will initially be compatible with DLSS 4. If you possess the costly GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, this game will also showcase Nvidia’s new Multi Frame Generation technology, which can potentially produce “up to three extra frames for every traditionally rendered frame.
Essentially, this will have an exceptionally smooth appearance, and in the comparison trailer below, you can observe that the frame rate increases to a remarkable 300 or more at certain instances. This enables the action to flow more seamlessly than ever before. While the incredibly high frames per second (fps) isn’t completely consistent, it’s important to note that it is significantly higher compared to the native frame rate (which also looks impressive in the video, hovering between 100-130 fps).
In their latest blog post, Nvidia verifies that Stellar Blade now supports DLSS 4, allowing users to boost image quality even more with Super Resolution. Additionally, Nvidic Reflex is anticipated to enhance responsiveness by minimizing latency.
Automata collaboration DLC.
Looking forward to discovering the future journey of Stellar Blade! Back in May, there were whispers of a potential sequel from Shift Up, and given the game’s widespread success, it wouldn’t be shocking if such plans materialized. To celebrate their successful previous year, all Shift Up employees received a $3,400 bonus and a PS5 Pro, making it clear they were quite pleased with their achievements.
