Glamorous Seniors Compete for Widowed Bachelor’s Heart on New Reality Show
The popular television series, The Bachelorette Australia, has started shooting in Sydney, attracting stylish older women from various parts of the nation who aim to capture the affection of Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden.
During a shooting day on Wednesday, the initial, somewhat older, charismatic figure from the series, resembling a silver-haired fox, was noticed steering an old-fashioned, fast Italian watercraft over the Harbor.
Currently, the main actresses have made their appearance on set, and they’re employing every strategy imaginable to charm the infrastructure engineer.
In the group of ladies, there was a well-known figure that many television and radio viewers might recognize – the celebrated personality Bianca Dye, an award-winner.
51-year-old Bianca gained widespread recognition during the 1990s as she helmed the nationwide radio program, “The Nitemix Across Australia with Bianca Dye,” on 92.5 Gold FM.
Over the past few decades, Bianca has accumulated extensive experience by working in various sectors, primarily in Sydney and Brisbane. She also spent some time in television, and currently, she is the host of the morning show at Sea FM 90.9.

After having had a lengthy and prosperous professional journey behind her, it appears she’s now prepared to establish a lasting relationship and embrace love.
Bianca deliberately chose to make an eye-catching entrance on the set by donning a vibrant purple maxi dress featuring a deep v-neck.
She tied a pink flannel shirt around her waist and added a soft curl to her short blonde tresses.
However, her competitors didn’t shy away from showing their affection either. Many were spotted with curlers in their hair and heavily made-up faces, among them was a woman speculated to be from Queensland, Lauren George.
A different lady was spotted carrying a Gucci scarf casually on her arm, while pulling her suitcases along.
Simultaneously, she with the blond hair styled it into multiple curlers while wearing a low-cut white tank top that accentuated her ample figure.
In a vibrant ensemble, I tied my wavy locks up into a sleek ponytail and added an eye-catching black choker to complete the look.
In the first season of “The Golden Bachelor Australia,” the contestants will vie for the affection of Barry, a successful man in the technology sector who is also a loving father to three children.

Barry currently works in Data Centre Management for Woolworths Group.
For many years, he’s been a seasoned professional in his industry, having occupied top-tier positions at prominent establishments such as Macquarie Bank and the New South Wales Port Authority.
However, despite his successful career, it’s been reported by reliable sources close to Daily Mail Australia that Barry has experienced deep personal loss, as he is now a widower.
As an ardent admirer, I’ve overheard Bear expressing his frustrations about his friends claiming that the women he brings around are inappropriately young and excessively attractive for him, a confidant disclosed.
It’s not surprising that he’s being considered for The Bachelor, given how often we suggested he should appear on a reality TV show like Married at First Sight.
Despite his corporate background, Barry is far from your typical office-bound executive.
A passionate sailor, he has competed in high-profile races like the Sydney to Hobart.
In a snapshot from one of his recent sailing trips, Barry appeared dashing and rough-hewn while navigating the yacht.

Contrary to shows like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette that cater to the younger demographic with their contestants, The Golden Bachelor is designed for an older, more mature audience.
‘Bear is not your usual reality TV type,’ an insider told Daily Mail Australia.
He possesses charisma, intelligence, and a rich life experience. He has navigated love, sorrow, and is now prepared to embrace new relationships. Many women will find him captivating.
Supporters of “The Bachelor” franchise have been advocating for a version in Australia ever since the U.S. edition debuted last year, receiving widespread praise from critics.
Back in November, there were reports indicating that The Golden Bachelor had been searching for potential participants in an unconventional manner.
At the Royal Randwick racecourse in Sydney, a talent representative from the show was seen distributing contact information to event participants.
Ivanna Tang, a casting agent, chose an unconventional approach by trying to attract horse racetrack attendees for the upcoming spin-off series.
In Australia, the rights to air The Golden Bachelor have been acquired by a party, and it’s been announced that Samantha Armytage will be the show’s host for its reality dating series.
Samantha got involved with the casting call, urging people to give their family members a ‘nudge’.
Initially taken aback, the longtime host of Farmer Wants A Wife, who had been with Seven for 21 years, surprised viewers by announcing her departure. This decision ignited a flurry of speculation among fans about her future plans.
At Nine’s Upfronts event in November, it was disclosed that her new TV role on The Golden Bachelor would commence in 2025, as the network announced their programming lineup for that year.
