The much-anticipated return of the series, Black Mirror, for season 7 has been officially announced. Fans will be able to enjoy it in just a few short weeks!
After a gap of almost two years, the eagerly anticipated fresh installments are finally here, featuring an ensemble cast that previously includes Peter Capaldi from “Doctor Who” and Harriet Walter from “Succession”.
Netflix has officially confirmed that the new six-part series will debut on April 10th. Additionally, they’ve unveiled a sneak peek trailer filled with intriguing plot developments, along with some initial images to give us a glimpse of what’s to come.
It’s been confirmed that Will Poulter, who starred in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, is rejoining the cast (it seems like he’ll be back as his character from Bandersnatch). Additionally, Asim Chaudhry from People Just Do Nothing and Michele Austin from Hard Truths have also been added to the cast.
Announced as well are Ben Bailey Smith from Andor, Josh Finan from Say Nothing, James Nelson-Joyce from A Thousand Blows, Jay Simpson from The Day of the Jackal, and Michael Workéyè from This Is Going to Hurt.

Raymond known for “Horrible Histories,” Milanka Brooks starring in “Mum And I Don’t Talk Anymore,” Patsy Ferran recognized for her role in “Firebrand,” Lewis Gribben from “Blade Runner 2099,” Siena Kelly of “Domino Day,” and Rosy McEwen hailing from “Blue Jean” on board as well.
Moreover, actors Jimmi Simpson from Westworld and Cristin Milioti known for her role in The Penguin will reappear in the sequel to Season 4’s ‘USS Callister’ episode.
Previously, the creator of “Black Mirror”, Charlie Brooker, hinted that one episode from season 7 might be among the darkest yet.
He shared with Deadline that he wrote one script which was widely perceived as one of the most devastating, intense emotional hits so far. He also mentioned there are episodes filled with technology and some that make people cry. So, ideally, it’s a complete emotional workout, but we’ll see. Ultimately, the viewers will decide its impact.
Or,
Speaking to Deadline, he revealed that one of the scripts he wrote was seen as a particularly heavy, emotionally draining punch by many. Additionally, there are episodes with a tech focus and some that bring people to tears. Thus, it aims to provide a comprehensive emotional experience, but we’ll have to wait and see. The audience will be the ones to decide its impact in the end.
Black Mirror season 7 will stream on Netflix from April 10.
