Liam Neeson Spotted Filming Stunts
Legendary actor Liam Neeson is at present shooting his newest action film titled “The Mongoose” in Melbourne. He’s joined by Marisa Tomei and Michael Chiklis on set.
On a Tuesday, I found myself at the wheel of a sleek black Ford Mustang, cruising along Altona Pier with a skilled stunt driver by my side. We were practicing a thrilling car maneuver, adding another exciting chapter to our journey. (The actor in question is none other than the legendary Batman Begins star, who turned 72 that day.)
In the latest film, Liam Neeson takes on the role of Ryan ‘Fang’ Flanagan, a renowned war veteran who is fleeing after being falsely accused of a crime.
In an amazing scene that seemed like the movie’s thrilling finale, Liam Neeson left spectators astounded while shooting a sequence where his character is backed into a tight spot and races along a pier.
As a diehard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement as I gaze upon the mesmerizing images that Michael Chiklis, 61, has graciously shared with us all on social media! This legendary actor, who shares the screen with my beloved Liam Neeson, captured some truly breathtaking sights during his stay in Melbourne. It’s as if he’s given me a virtual tour of this enchanting city, and I can’t help but feel like I’m right there alongside him, taking it all in!
As a die-hard admirer, I penned down some soulful sentiments, paired with snapshots of the iconic cityscape – its towering skyscrapers, the serene flow of the Yarra River, and tantalizing glimpses of delectable local delicacies.
In an excited tone, Chiklis exclaimed that Melbourne is buzzing with energy! The streets are teeming with vitality, brimming with art, music, food, cocktails, and coffee. Even the skies seem animated. #goodvibes was a fitting description for his enthusiastic mood.
In Victoria, Liam Neeson has now completed filming his third movie, which follows “Ice Road 2: Road to the Sky” (released in 2023) and “Blacklight” (from 2022). The new movie is titled “The Mongoose.
Following an Oscar-nominated actor’s recent appearance, they utilized their celebrity status to promote a property video for a suburban dwelling in Melbourne.
In the humorous advertisement, the seasoned actor makes an appearance, with the ad incorporating well-known phrases from Liam Neeson’s successful 2008 movie, Taken.
Neeson consented to do the voice-over since he’s close friends with the houseowners, who reside in a spacious four-bedroom property in Mulgrave.
This recently put-up-for-auction, contemporary two-story dwelling boasts an in-ground pool and carries an estimated selling price between $1.3 million and $1.4 million.
During his filming experience in Australia, Liam Neeson got to know the family consisting of Dean Fay, his spouse Sonia, and their girls, according to The Herald Sun’s report.
In the advertisement, Liam Neeson, tied up with filming obligations, asks Ming Xu to forward him a video of the property instead.

He said that his schedule is full with movie production, so he can’t check the property in person.
Later, Xu advises Neeson to hurry up and purchase the house, as otherwise, it might get “snatched away” – a playful nod towards the actor’s popular film series.
‘Oh, very original,’ the action star sarcastically replied.
In the video’s conclusion, there’s a subtle reference to the film “Taken,” where a character dressed in formal attire is depicted standing outside the Mulgrave residence.
Xu, who is relaxing in a pool, takes a call from the menacing-sounding Neeson.
‘I didn’t give you the address,’ the agent tells the star, who replies: ‘I told you I’d find you.’
According to Dean Fay, who is the owner, Neeson adjusted some parts of the script before recording his lines, as reported by The Herald Sun.
The filmmaker noted, “Few actors would go that far for a friend, but he’s exceptionally kind-hearted.
Dean serves as a recognized assistant director, having collaborated with Liam Neeson on various productions, such as the 2022 film Blacklight that was shot in Melbourne and Canberra.
