Exes Moana Hope and Maria Thattil Attend Glamour on the Grid Separately After Breakup

In 2024, Maria Thattil and Moana Hope showcased an emotional connection at Glamour on the Grid, sharing with Daily Mail Australia their feelings of being ‘satisfied’ in their relationship.
However, on a chilly Wednesday evening, the previous Miss Universe Australia, aged 32, and the pioneering AFLW figure, both 37, graced individual photo shoots as swarms of VIP attendees flocked to Albert Park, Melbourne, in anticipation of the Formula One Grand Prix.
After several months of whispers and speculation, it was announced about three weeks back that Maria had privately ended her 18-month long relationship with Moana.
Moreover, Maria undeniably demonstrated to her ex what they had lost, as she captivated everyone in a stunning Cappellazzo Couture dress, just like the character she portrays on “The Neighbours.
Meanwhile, Moana looked incredibly chic in an Effie Kats suit.
She teamed the two-piece ensemble with a striped shirt and tie.
In September 2023, the former partners, who initially crossed paths within the social circle of celebrities in Melbourne following Moana’s separation from her former spouse, Isabella Carlstrom, made their relationship official.
Moana strongly defended herself against claims that her recent romantic involvement happened too quickly following the six-year marriage’s end to Isabella, who is the mother of her two kids.
On Instagram, Moana expressed, in a heartfelt manner, that there’s not always a definite timeline for moving forward after a separation.
During a conversation with Daily Mail Australia at last year’s Glamour on the Grid event, the AFLW star expressed sincere admiration towards Maria, saying, “You’re doing an excellent job as a step-mother.
‘Maria is going to buy us a farm to raise the kids on.’
‘I am! I am! I’ll take that, I am,’ Maria responded.
‘[Moana] makes me want to have balance in my life.
Additionally, I believe my growth as a businesswoman is significantly enhanced due to the fulfillment I experience in my personal life, particularly with family and love. I am incredibly fortunate, content, and grateful for this blessing.
Maria revealed that her ‘beautiful’ relationship with Moana had run its course last month.
‘Moana and I have had a wonderful bond, but we’ve chosen to move forward independently,’ she expressed on Instagram.
Maria said that the breakup, while difficult, was amicable.
She went on to say that we treat each other with deep respect and genuine concern, and we’ll continually stand by one another.
‘Thank you for all the love and support.’
As I’ll be tied up with work duties, understand that it’s not simple for me at the moment, she also mentioned.
‘I appreciate privacy around this.’
Last week, Maria dismissed speculations about a breakup by saying to News Corp, “I’m not currently single.” She clarified, “I’ve noticed the rumors… but truthfully, that’s just where they remain: rumors.
‘We are good and excited for the year ahead. Excited for 2025 together and it’s going to be great.’
The pair also celebrated Maria’s 32nd birthday together recently.

Even though the pair frequently appeared as a duo in public, they seldom spoke openly or made remarks concerning their romantic involvement.
In June, Maria expressed admiration for her beloved on “The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show” podcast.
‘It is amazing, and challenging, and growing me in ways that I’ve never experienced,’ she said.
