On Tuesday evening, the pair came back together following their unique arrangement, and Jacqui, aged 29, read aloud a note she had written to her husband, who was 36 years old, expressing doubts about his financial situation.

On Wednesday, instead of following the script as planned, Jacqui chose to go against the norm and shared with her Instagram audience that the script contained a key point she had been asked to omit.

Reading the letter aloud on her social media, Jacqui said, ‘”I expressed my worry that your job situation isn’t secure or consistent.” Then, I needed to black out this following part.’

As a devoted admirer, let me rephrase that for you in the first person: “I know acting can be precarious, but I have no doubts you’ll land on your feet. However, it seems they had to revise the character you were playing, as ‘Ryan’ was depicted as a project manager.

Jackie added that there were several other worries she harbored regarding Ryan, which unfortunately didn’t make it into the final cut of the episode.

She went on reading: ‘”You treat me like a verbal target for your anger, dismissing me whenever your authority and superiority are challenged.

I find your views on gender roles and stereotypes challenging, as they seem quite old-fashioned and don’t align with my strong commitment to equal treatment for all genders.

It seems as though you might struggle to embrace others’ viewpoints or convictions, and perhaps you haven’t discovered the strength that comes from being open and vulnerable.

It seems like you haven’t yet demonstrated the ability to think critically, and it’s essential that you remain open to examining your own views and opinions.

Jacqui then revealed Ryan was ‘obsessed with being seen as the perfect man’. 

Yet, even after Jacqui shared the shocking letter with Ryan, they were seen displaying affectionate gestures (PDA) the following day upon returning home from the dinner party.

Free from the tension that was noticeable on Tuesday evening, Jacqui and Ryan beamed with happiness upon returning to their apartment.

The duo walked side by side with wide smiles, occasionally pausing for a tender kiss before entering together.

Before they formally split up towards the end of the season, the affectionate behavior between them was evident. Since then, Jacqui has found new companionship with another contestant, Clint Rice.

Jacqui hasn’t exactly followed the rules for the first time, by revealing parts that producers omitted from the final Married at First Sight edit.

In a recent development, the consultant from New South Wales has spoken up about the controversy surrounding her seemingly staged tears during the experiment, an act that has drawn criticism.

On Monday, she uploaded a video to Instagram, asserting that a scene with visible tears was cut during post-production.

Every now and then, I might shed tears for about five minutes or so, but don’t worry, my passionate outbursts are being skillfully trimmed by the editors. They’ve got the precise moments of my emotional expressions taken care of!

However, they omitted the part where the genuine sobbing occurred, where tears would stream down. It’s noticeable that I’m crying since my mascara-streaked face becomes evident afterwards.

‘That’s just the editing, they just do the start and end, not the middle.’

Jacqui mentioned that she recorded videos of herself crying on her phone and might share them as evidence to confirm the tears were sincere.

Additionally, she explained the reason behind choosing a blue dress over a conventional wedding gown for her fictitious nuptials with her television spouse, Ryan Donnelly.
