Jenna Ortega Stuns in Gothic Glam at NYC Premiere of Death Of A Unicorn!
At the New York City premiere of her upcoming film “Death of a Unicorn” by A24, Jenna Ortega radiated an alluring gothic style.
On the occasion of the SXSW Film Festival, the actress from “The Wednesday” film, aged 22 and recently captivating audiences with her stylish appearance, attended alongside fellow cast and team members at the event held at New York’s AMC Lincoln Theater.
In the upcoming horror-comedy, slated for release on March 28, the main character (the star) will be sharing the spotlight with Paul Rudd.
Ortega captivated with a sleek, black, strapless gown fitting closely to her silhouette and boasting an unbalanced neckline design at the top.
The belt buckle shimmered like silver and added an unusual touch at the top, while a split extended up to the thigh on the left side.
Furthermore, Jenna put on a matching set of black closed-toe shoes as part of her overall color coordination.

Her dark locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly flowed down straight past her shoulders.
Ortega chose to keep accessories to a minimum, emphasizing the prominence of her attire, while subtly accessorizing with delicate silver earrings and several rings on both hands.
For the evening, the actress enhanced her look with an elaborate makeup style that included lengthening mascara on her eyelashes and a striking, wing-shaped line of black eyeliner.
Her cheeks gained a rosy glow to highlight their contours more distinctly, and she opted for a shiny lip color in a neutral tone as the final detail.
At some point, the beauty encountered director Alex Scharfman, and they took a striking photograph as they briefly stopped.
In an earlier conversation with Allure, I shared my insights on how embodying the character of Wednesday in the popular Netflix show has subtly reshaped my own fashion sensibilities.
I’ve consistently adored donning all black attire. Frankly, I can’t imagine anyone not appreciating it – it’s timeless and versatile, making nearly everyone appear stylish.
The star added that Wednesday Addams, ‘encouraged me to embrace that side of myself more.

Over time, my deep-seated appreciation for the culture and music associated with Goth has grown, leading me to incorporate elements of this style increasingly into my daily routine.
In A24’s Death Of A Unicorn, it was Jenna who assumed the character of Ridley, with Paul Rudd, Will Poulter, Tea Leoni, and Richard E. Grant also appearing in the film.
The characters Elliott, who is a father, and Ridley, his daughter, have an encounter where they accidentally hit a unicorn with their car. Later, they transport the injured creature to a secluded wilderness retreat belonging to a very wealthy pharmaceutical CEO. (According to IMDb)
Recently, Jenna reminisced about collaborating with Paul Rudd, a versatile actor famed for his roles in Ant-Man, Clueless, and This Is 40.
Luckily, we connected well, exchanged a few discussions, and began filming just a day or two following our initial encounter, according to the actress, as reported by Deadline.
As an overjoyed admirer, I gleefully shared, ‘Thankfully, we’ve walked the same path. In truth, I’m a father just like her character, and Jenna Ortega is not merely an actress on screen, but a real-life daughter to me! Our connection sparked instantaneously; when you get the chance to collaborate with Jenna Ortega, your role becomes effortless because she’s simply extraordinary!’
On top of his role as an executive producer, Ortega expressed that he sometimes feels the need for a more active involvement in the project, as he shared with IGN earlier this month.
However, it’s the team responsible for this movie that I truly admire, as I find all the producers incredibly awesome. In fact, working with this whole ensemble is a pleasure that ranks among my favorites.

Afterward, the star addressed the director, saying, “Alex was absolutely brimming with information, explanations, and rationales for every action he took. It seemed like we all stood aside and let him take charge.
As a devoted admirer, I must confess that one of the thrilling aspects of collaborating with A24 is the sense of faith they instill in their team. It’s like they believe in each individual’s abilities to excel at their role.
jenna stated, “They should display their artistic abilities and creativity, and I believe we all gave Alex full trust to do just that.
During the recent weekend, Ortega was present at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, where they screened Death Of A Unicorn.

The actress stylishly displayed her elegant side, donning a coordinated set consisting of brown plaid trousers and a jacket.
Additionally, Jenna put on a rust-hued shirt and a satin tie in the same shade to round off her ensemble for the occasion.
In their latest critique on the horror-comedy movie, The Hollywood Reporter noted that actors Ortega and Rudd subtly infused a delightful, sugary charm into Scharfman’s production.
Over time, and amidst an improbable journey, the once fractured bond between them deepens significantly, revealing a strong and authentic connection that feels like a genuine father-daughter relationship. This heartfelt dynamic culminates in a deeply moving scene near the end.
