JOOPITER Unveils “On Another Planet: The Collection of Kid Cudi” Auction

Jupiter and Kid Cudi have formally revealed that they’re hosting an auction for “On Another Planet: A Gathering of Kid Cudi’s Items.

The sale will be open to bidders worldwide starting March 13, showcasing Cudder’s discerning taste and his extensive travel experiences as a long-time collector. This auction includes the artist’s unique and individually acquired collection of original vintage music T-shirts, some of which pay tribute to musical greats such as Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and Green Day – artists who have also inspired Cudi himself.

Additionally highlighted in this collection are his enduring friendships with figures such as the late Virgil Abloh, who created merchandise for Cudi’s initial tours, and Takashi Murakami; notable works by Abloh for OFF-WHITE and Louis Vuitton, custom pieces designed by him specifically for Cudi as keepsakes of their friendship, Murakami’s 2020 “BLM” prints, a custom Ben Baller x Takashi Murakami x Kid Cudi chain, are all being auctioned. Other noteworthy items include jewelry, watches, sneakers, and various objects.

Cudder expressed enthusiasm about sharing his unique assortment through JOOPITER. This collection spans various phases of his personal life and professional journey, with art and fashion being significant influences throughout. Each item carries personal significance for him, and he hopes that it inspires the same passion in its new owner.
