Sam Frost Reflects on Her ‘Naive’ Bachelor Days: ‘What Was I Thinking?’

Sam Frost rose to fame on The Bachelor before starring in her own spin-off The Bachelorette. 

However, the 35-year-old admits she now regrets those past decisions, attributing them to her youth and inexperience.

In simpler terms, the reality star expressed, ‘Back then, I was quite young, and now, I frequently ponder… what on earth was going through my mind?’ on the Mental As Anyone podcast.

She continued, “I find myself constantly reflecting on both my words and actions, to be honest, I can’t quite figure out what thoughts were guiding me at the time.

At that moment, my motivations were completely honorable as I looked forward to the prospect of dating Australia’s most sought-after bachelor, and I was truly thrilled about it.

Sam has a pointed remark regarding another appearance on the program, specifically expressing her choice of Sasha Mielczarek in this instance.

I’m absolutely smitten,” I confessed, expressing my undying affection by returning for The Bachelorette, despite my previous stint on The Bachelor concluding in a catastrophe.

Sam expresses that although she feels remorseful about certain statements and actions, she is not sorry for having participated in the show, as it paved the way for her acting role on Home and Away.

During the 2014 season of The Bachelor, Blake Garvey made an emotional proposal to Sam during the climactic finale, but soon afterward broke up with her and chose Louise Pillidge, who had originally placed third.

Later, he made an appearance on The Bachelorette back in 2015, however, he parted ways with his winner Sasha Mielczarek shortly afterwards.

The actress is now expecting her second child with fiancé Jordie Hansen.

We’ve had quite an adventure, but we’re immensely relieved that our baby is thriving and well. Everyone is eagerly anticipating meeting you, and your older sibling can hardly wait!

The actress went on expressing gratitude to her loved ones for their “affectionate encouragement” during the last several months.

The expectant mom of two hasn’t disclosed the exact stage of her pregnancy yet, but if her post suggests it correctly, she might be several months into her term.

Sam and Jordie announced their engagement on July 7, 2022.

She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family and friends for their love and encouragement during the recent months, concluding with “I love you,” in her Instagram post.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Theodore, on March 7, 2023.

In August the actress revealed pregnancy was not easy for her.

She admitted that she’s been taken aback by how parenthood has unfolded for her, as she shared her experiences with Confidential on Nova radio.

Initially, I struggled greatly with pregnancy, which made me worry about the future. However, surprisingly, I find myself feeling more at ease than I anticipated.

She added her newborn was ‘honestly fantastic’ and she was enjoying motherhood.
