On Tuesday, Tammin Sursok disclosed an unexpected health issue stemming from a recent spider bite. She went to the doctor for a regular check-up and discovered this problem.

On a Monday, the Australian actress, aged 41, experienced a spider bite and visited her general practitioner the next day for an inspection of the wound and a routine check-up.

However, a regular visit to the neighborhood health facility for the ex-Home and Away actor became alarming when an unexpected finding was made by her physician.

The tale kicked off as Tammin, hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, shared with her Instagram audience that she was bitten by a spider on Monday.

Posting a picture of a small elevation on her arm, she commented: “One might assume, being an Australian, I’d be well-versed in spiders. However…

‘One just bit me. It’s so painful. Do I just do the ring around the spot and watch it?’

Tammin seemed unfazed by the bite since she already had a scheduled doctor’s visit planned for the next day to undergo her regular examination.

The following day, while seated in her general practitioner’s waiting room, she posted a fresh update, indicating that the bite had turned quite red.

‘Latest on the spider bite. I thought it had healed last night, but the pain has eased a bit. This morning, though, and here’s where things get surprising…’ (followed by a shocked emoji)

however, the situation for Tammin deteriorated further within a few hours as she received an unexpected discovery during her medical examination upon consultation with her doctor.

She shared that she received surprising news from the doctor, and although she’s trying to stay optimistic, she kindly asks for everyone’s well-wishes as she posted a selfie along with it.

‘Always advocate for your health. Ask for second opinions. Trust your gut.’

Tammin later uploaded a video to her Stories as she sat in her car after the doctor’s visit.

Just returned from my annual check-up with the physician. As a wellness advocate, I can’t stress enough the significance of these regular evaluations.

Meanwhile, unrelated to the spider, they discovered something rather surprising. As a result, I underwent an ultrasound examination.

‘I don’t have any additional information at the moment, but I’m keeping a positive outlook. Thanks for inquiring, and I’ll be sure to let you know if anything changes.’

The actress from Pretty Little Liars ended her video by expressing hope that everything is okay, sending out many optimistic vibes.

Presently, Tammin resides in Nashville alongside her spouse, Sean McEwen, whom she wedded during a ceremony held in Italy back in 2011.
