Magliano Heads to the Fair in SS25 Campaign

In simpler terms, Magliano has revealed a heartfelt campaign, which takes place at an Italian carnival, to display their SS25 assortment. This Italian label, established by designer Luca Magliano, carries on his journey of delving into the 90s normcore style, while incorporating elements of craftsmanship and humor in its latest collection.

As I strolled through the carnival, the smoke machines lost their fleeting charm, filling the air with a thick fog. Among the rides stood the iconic Tagada, a symbol of Italian teen culture from the 00s. The dizzying spin it created seemed to open up surreal landscapes, where the fashion styles of the collection melded together. With psychedelic lights flashing and disorienting me in my quest for an escape, I found myself caught in a whimsical vortex instead.

A diverse group of people spanning different age groups is dressed in earthy basics, vintage-inspired tops, faded denim classics, and relaxed suits, as they leisurely explore the fairgrounds. Memorable outfits feature a blazer turned inside-out paired with a bubblegum pink button-up, another standout being an oversized gray coat adorned with a wild rat graphic, and green nylon pants in olive hue.

Additionally, the campaign showcases Magliano’s partnership with the workwear shoe brand U-Power. A design inspired by Mary Janes, this shoe model comes in blue suede and resembles a climbing shoe due to its prominent black straps. In the SS25 collection, you’ll also find the same model available in a lighter colorway and featuring a lace-up style.
