Steel Seed, the Sci-Fi Stealth-Action Game From Close to the Sun Studio, Gets an April Release Date

In an exciting announcement, ESDigital Games together with developer Storm in a Teacup have disclosed that the highly-anticipated sci-fi stealth-action game named Steel Seed is slated for release this coming April. A fresh trailer has also been unveiled, providing glimpses of the gameplay and offering insights into both parkour elements and the storyline.

Originating from the creators behind Close to the Sun, the game Steel Seed is set in a chilling sci-fi environment where humankind once more teeters on the edge of annihilation. As the player takes on the role of protagonist Zoe, accompanied by her flying drone ally KOBY, you’ll be tasked with investigating a treacherous subterranean facility in search of enlightenment and the means to preserve humanity’s existence.

In this custom-built universe, you’ll traverse “imposing industrial cityscapes” and “spooky biomes enclosed within domes”, blending stealth tactics with intense combat encounters to outwit numerous foes, bosses, and obstacles. The game’s description highlights that “Steel Seed” delves deeper than mere survival; it invites you to ponder the delicate balance between mankind and machinery, loyalty and command, fortitude and despair.
