Doctor Foster fans! Don’t miss this chaotic new thriller on TV tonight, led by Beyond Paradise star

Tonight on Channel 5, you can catch the premiere of a fresh new thriller titled “The Au Pair.” It seems to be just as gripping and turbulent as the popular BBC series “Doctor Foster.”

Or, in another way:

Don’t miss the debut of the suspenseful thriller “The Au Pair” tonight on Channel 5. It promises to be every bit as intense and chaotic as the beloved BBC show “Doctor Foster.

As mentioned in the summary (from Radio Times), when Chris proposes that they hire an au pair to assist with Zoe Dalton’s aging father and their step-children, she believes this could help alleviate the pressure of managing everything simultaneously.

In walks Sandrine, a quick learner with impressive skills – but an unexpected change sweeps through the serene family residence nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds.

As suggested in the episode’s introduction, Sandrine appears to harbor a concealed purpose – it remains to be seen where this may take us.

The Au Pair boasts a well-known and full cast, with Sally Bretton from Beyond Paradise and Green Wing in the role of Zoe Dalton. Kenny Doughty, known for his work on ITV’s Vera, plays her husband, while the enigmatic Sandrine is portrayed by Ludmilla Makowski, who has appeared in the popular Netflix series Lupin.

Notable television personality David Suchet, famously recognized for his portrayal of Agatha Christie’s detective Hercule Poirot, is also cast as Zoe’s father in this production.

Starting from Monday, March 10th, I’m super excited to dive into the thrilling series that Channel 5 has got lined up! Every night at 9 PM, we’ll be glued to our screens as four gripping episodes unfold, with the climactic final episode airing on Thursday, March 13th. Can’t wait!

2021 has been quite eventful for Channel 5 when it comes to drama. Recently, Allen Leech from “Downton Abbey” started in a new thriller series titled “The Vanishings“, and we’ve already caught a sneak peek of the upcoming detective drama “Catch You Later“, starring Jason Watkins, before its much-awaited debut.

Additionally, Watkins is set to premiere a fresh documentary series on the channel, exploring the historical background of the Tower of London. He aims to unravel the authenticity behind stories associated with this fortress, and will even share intriguing disclosures about how Jason’s ancestors have ties to the Tower itself.

The Au Pair starts on March 10 at 9pm on Channel 5.
