On “Married at First Sight,” Olivia Frazer recently unveiled a fresh new appearance, following her forceful criticism of the show’s creators last week.

On Monday, the television personality, aged 31, who gained popularity during season 9 of the program, shared a photo on Instagram displaying her brand-new short hairstyle.

She titled one of her Instagram stories as ‘A bob-like instant’, showcasing the TV personality getting a short haircut at the salon, wearing a sunny yellow cardigan and carrying a vibrant blue Frank Green water bottle.

Afterward, she shared a self-portrait with the comment: ‘Not at all, but I’m completely smitten,’ followed by: “Call it ‘Bobsessed’, if you prefer.” (Informal)

After Paul Antoine’s violent outburst during Married At First Sight in 2025, a change in Olivia’s hairstyle occurred as a result of her expressing strong feelings to the show’s producers.

During a more recent broadcast, a 31-year-old individual who works on a Fly In, Fly Out basis confessed that he was overcome with anger when his partner, Carina Mirabile, disclosed she had previously slept with American rapper Quevo. As a result, he vented his frustration by hitting a nearby door.

Following the incident, Olivia criticized Channel Nine and Endemol Shine Australia on TikTok, accusing them of justifying violence.

On the 2022 season of the popular reality show, Olivia asserted that the producers don’t stick to their pledge of a no-tolerance approach towards physical altercations among contestants.

She stated in a lengthy video that Endemol Shine Australia and Channel Nine have previously defended acts of violence, contrary to their stated beliefs.

If a strict no-tolerance policy is in place, any instances of violent behavior on the show will result in the immediate removal of those involved.

She mentioned earlier that the film’s producers had warned her during pre-production that any form of aggression was not allowed on set.

Later on, Olivia mentioned an occurrence during her wedding season, where Domenica Calarco, another bride, had a heated argument with Olivia and shattered a glass during the disagreement at a gathering.

Olivia claimed that the situation was minimized or dismissed, and that she was manipulated by the producers so as not to file an official complaint.

Olivia asserted that her concerns were downplayed and that she was coerced into not reporting the issue formally, by the producers.

In her video, she stated that at first, what had happened to her was downplayed as if it were insignificant, but ultimately she felt that she was advised to move past it without fully addressing its impact.

Instead of calling the police, I was persuaded not to, as it could potentially jeopardize the employment of hundreds of people, making me feel obligated to prioritize their jobs over my own safety.

She went on to say: ‘I found myself in a position where I was secluded and surrounded by three senior television producers who manipulated me with false information, trivialized my situation, and made misleading assurances to ensure I stayed on the production.’

Later on, Olivia asserted that the producers had tampered with the altercation during the editing process, giving the impression that Domenica’s behavior was excusable.

‘The truth is I didn’t want that argument… God forbid I sick up for myself,’ she said.

‘I never baited my aggressor, as much as it was presented to you on screen.’ 

In conclusion to her passionate statement, Olivia advocated for the suspension of the series until any accusations of misconduct (such as abuse and violence) have been thoroughly examined.

It’s equally troubling that Endemol Shine Australia and Channel Nine continue to tolerate violent individuals within their work environment, as she pointed out.

If they truly aim to serve as role models for society as they assert, the offender should have been swiftly dealt with without delay.

“It’s crucial we halt this show temporarily. There are allegations of both recent and past mistreatment and exploitation of cast members, and the production team must be held accountable for these abuses that have persisted for an unacceptably long time. An investigation should be launched to clarify the situation.

Earlier this year, the controversial figure from Married at First Sight purged their social media platforms, removing numerous old posts and images dating back over the years.

In a candid moment, here’s what I shared, accompanied by a photo that conveyed a sense of exasperation: “Contrary to any suspicions you might have, it’s not my Instagram acting up. Rather, I’ve taken the conscious decision to archive all my photos.

Olivia shared that her significant decision, which swiftly eliminated years of suggestive photos from public view, was triggered by persistent negative remarks on her social media platform, ultimately leading her to restrict methods for online bullies to reach out to her.

‘People can’t comment mean s**t on my photos if there’s no photos’ she explained. 

Instead of silencing comments altogether, I preferred to maintain my slightly-dramatic flair.
