Ollie Robinson, the England cricketer, and his wife, Mia Baker, who is an influencer, are expecting their first baby, according to an exclusive report from the Daily Mail.

Ollie and Mia, who got married last year, are thrilled to be expecting a baby. However, they previously experienced a painful loss, as Mia had a miscarriage just a few months ago.

Ollie, age 32 and already a father, told the Daily Mail that after experiencing a loss last summer, they were thrilled to discover Mia was pregnant again in December. While they were excited, they also felt some worry and anxiety given their previous experience.

We scheduled a scan as quickly as possible to check on the baby. Hearing the heartbeat was an incredible relief for both of us, bringing tears of joy and creating a moment we’ll always cherish.

Mia, who is 31, shared that she didn’t realize how common this experience is for women, many of whom keep it to themselves. She found that talking about it was really beneficial, and she especially appreciated the support she received from Ollie’s mother.

Mia and Ollie secretly kept their pregnancy news hidden while traveling for work in South Africa. Mia is already 20 weeks along.

The couple addressed past concerns about how their relationship began, specifically the end of Ollie’s previous engagement to Lauren Rose Pullen. They assured everyone that things are now good and their family is getting stronger.

Ollie and Lauren were planning their wedding after being together for eight years, but they broke up just three months before the date. They share a five-year-old daughter named Sienna.

At the time, friends told the Daily Mail that Lauren was ‘heartbroken and totally devastated.’

Mia shared her joy about their blended family, saying it’s wonderful to see how thrilled Ollie’s daughter is about becoming a big sister. The little girl already chatting with the baby on the way is making the experience feel very real and bringing everyone closer as they prepare to welcome a new member to their family.

Ollie shared that he introduced his daughter, Sienna, to Mia a few months into their relationship, and Mia immediately bonded with her. He said it quickly showed him how wonderful a mother Mia would be.

Ollie is a professional cricket player who bowls right-arm medium-pace. He plays for both Sussex and the England national team and was once considered one of the best bowlers in the world, though his fitness has come under question recently.

He’s hoping to play for England again someday, but a small groin surgery in February 2025 caused a setback in his progress.

Mia described how she and her partner bonded quickly through their shared love of sports. They met at a point in both their lives when they were going through difficult times, and soon discovered they had similar values and goals. She emphasized that honesty has been a key part of their connection from the start.
