‘The Bondsman’ star Kevin Bacon on the role he has no interest in resurrecting
At the 2025 SXSW Film and TV Festival, Kevin Bacon and Erik Oleson, the lead actor and producer of Amazon Prime Video’s show “The Bondsman,” a series about a demonic bounty hunter, visited the L.A. Times studio for an interview. During their discussion with host Nicholas Ducassi, they delved into various intriguing topics, from the most sinister team in the NFL to the secret deal he made to maintain his youthful appearance.
Starting from April 3, following its premiere at SXSW, “The Bondsman” introduces us to Hub Halloran, portrayed by Michael Bacon, a bounty hunter who was murdered and then brought back to life by the devil, with the task of capturing escaped demons and returning them to hell.
One character Bacon might not wish to resurrect is his role as the teenage alcoholic, Tim, in the soap opera “Guiding Light.” You can find additional insights from our conversation in the video linked below.
