The First Descendant Support to End for Xbox One This June

Nexon has declared that they will no longer provide assistance for the game “The First Descendant” on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting from June, which is only seven months after its initial launch in July 2024.

A formal announcement will be made on March 20th, however, in a Season 2 Episode 2: Beyond the Update Preview video, the studio announced that they are phasing out support for older generation consoles for “The First Descendant.” Further details about this transition on last-gen platforms will be shared shortly.

Based on reports from Siliconera, Nexon Games has announced that it was “anticipated” they would phase out support for Xbox One and PS4 versions of The First Descendant. To enhance the game’s performance, significant updates, or “big changes”, are being planned. It seems that future developments for last-generation consoles do not align with these plans. Additionally, it was mentioned that a small number of players are currently playing the game on Xbox One and PS4.

Starting from June 19th, support for “The First Descendant” will conclude on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Excitingly, Season 2’s Episode 2 is scheduled for March 13th, introducing a fresh character named Serena, along with a new narrative, skins, emotes, and additional content to enhance your gaming experience.
