Linnea is a brand-new 5-star Geo character in Genshin Impact, introduced in Version 6.5. She uses a Bow and functions as both a damage dealer and a dedicated healer, with her abilities scaling off of her Defense stat. Linnea is best suited for teams focused on the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. This guide will cover the best ways to build Linnea, including recommended weapons, artifacts, and team compositions.

Linnea is a character who uses a bow and specializes in Geo abilities. She both damages enemies and heals her teammates. She can significantly lower enemy Geo resistance by 30%, provide healing to the entire team, and increase their Elemental Mastery based on her own defense. Her abilities primarily rely on her Skill and Ultimate. Here’s a closer look at what she can do.

Elemental Skill

Linnea’s ability deals both Geo and Geo Crystalize damage. When she uses it, she summons Lumi to the battlefield. The ability has two forms: Super Power Form, which deals continuous Geo and Lunar Crystalize damage for 25 seconds, and Ultimate Power Form, which delivers a single burst of Lunar Crystalize damage, followed by 25 seconds of Geo damage.

To activate Super Power Form, tap your character’s skill once to unleash Ultimate Power Form, then repeatedly use either her Normal attack or her Skill. Once she’s in any form, you can’t switch until the skill’s cooldown is over.

Elemental Burst

When Linnea uses her Burst, she calls on Lumi to attack with increased power and then heal the team. The healing continues based on Linnea’s defense stat. However, if Lumi is already on the field when Linnea uses her Burst, the duration of Lumi’s skills will be reset.

Passive Skills

  1. Field Observation Notes: When Lumi is on the field, opponents’ Geo res is reduced by 15%. If the team has two Nod Krai characters, then the opponents’ Geo res is further reduced by 15%.
  2. Universal Naturalists Archive: Linnea increases the elemental mastery of herself or increases any certain team member’s elemental mastery based on 5% of her DEF. If the member is an Nod Krai character, then increases that member’s elemental mastery, but if you don’t have any Nod Krai, then Linnea’s elemental mastery increases.
  3. Habitual Survey: When team members trigger the Hydro Crystalize reaction, it will automatically convert into the Lunar Crystalize reaction. With every 100 DEF, Linnea has increased Lunar Crystalize damage by 0.7%. Maximum 14% damage bonus can be obtained in this way.

C4 On-field character and Linea damage increase by 25%, but if Linnea is the active character, her damage increases by 50%.

C5 Increases her elemental burst talent level by +3.
C6 If your team has two Nod krai character Lunar Crystalize damage increased by 25%. Her Ultimate Power Form nuke Lunar Crystalize hit damage increases 225% for 10 stacks.

It increases her damage a lot and also increases team damage.

Linnea is already a very strong damage dealer even without any constellations. However, if you’re looking to boost her damage even more, her second constellation (C2) provides the biggest improvement for the least amount of investment.

Weapons Effects
Golden Frostbound Oath (5*) It’s Linnea’s signature weapon and also her best in-slot weapon. 

Increase DEF by 16%. When the equipping character’s Elemental Skill or Lunar-Crystallize attacks hit opponents, gain the Frost Fae’s Favor effect for 6s: Geo DMG inflicted by the equipping character increases by 40%, Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG increases by 40%.

While this effect is active, if there are Moondrifts near the equipping character, all other nearby party members will gain the Frost Fae’s Mischief effect: Geo DMG dealt increases by 20%, and Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG increases by 20%.

This effect can be triggered even when the equipping character is off-field.

This weapon buffed her and the whole team. Increases her DEF and gives a lot of Crit Damage.
Aqua Simulacra (5*) It’s Yelan’s signature weapon. It’s Linnea’s second-best in-slot alternative weapon.

HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not.

This weapon doesn’t give DEF, but it can increase Linnea’s personal damage and gives her a lot of Crit Damage.
Favonius Warbow (4*) Favonius Warbow is a very good alternative for her if you are an F2P player or your Linnea artifacts don’t have any er substat.

CRIT Hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12s.
Slingshot (3*) It’s her best F2P option. Gives a lot of Crit rate.

This effect will disappear after the equipping character is active for 3s.

It’s her best artifacts that buff Lunar reactions a lot, and if you are building her as a support, it’s best.
Husk of Opulent Dreams 2-PC: DEF +30%.

4-PC: A character equipped with this Artifact set will obtain the Curiosity effect in the following conditions: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s.

When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.

This artifact is best if you want to increase her personal damage.
Silken Moon’s Serenade 2-PC: Energy Recharge +20%

4-PC: When dealing Elemental DMG, gain the Gleaming Moon: Devotion effect for 8s: Increases all party members’ Elemental Mastery by 60/120 when the party’s Moonsign is Nascent Gleam/Ascendant Gleam.

The equipping character can trigger this effect while off-field. All party members’ Lunar Reaction DMG is increased by 10% for each different Gleaming Moon effect that party members have. Effects from Gleaming Moon cannot stack.

When someone in your team is already using the Aubade of Morningstar and Moon set, but you want to increase the team’s Lunar reaction damage further, then it will be a good choice for her.
