Curtis Stone Reveals Dream Dish to Cook for Donald Trump at the White House!
Curtis Stone is setting his sights on the White House.
In the most recent installment of TMZ’s Big Down Under podcast, the 49-year-old restaurant owner shared his dream of preparing a meal for U.S. President Donald Trump.
As a devoted admirer, if I were given the chance to show my appreciation for Australia, I’d definitely arrange to send them some top-quality beef – I understand they have a penchant for a good steak! This is something I shared with Charlie Cotton during our podcast conversation.
Curtis also considered a dish featuring thin slices of caramelised Wagyu.
He mentioned that they typically prepare it by shaving it, and then it’s served in a hot pot dish called shabu-shabu. In this dish, you simply dip the meat and consume it, which means it doesn’t reach the stage of being medium rare.
‘It’s not well done, it’s just flash cooked. So maybe that’s the answer for Donald.’

As a seasoned lifestyle expert, I’ve had the pleasure of catering meals for some truly remarkable individuals such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Martha Stewart, and Oprah Winfrey – an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything!
Apart from other notable figures, the famous culinary expert disclosed that he attended a state dinner hosted by the White House for Prime Minister Scott Morrison in 2019, which took place during President Trump’s initial term.
In another part of our conversation, Stone mentioned that he first encountered Trump back in 2010 when they both were participants on the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice, a show where Trump was the president at the time.
At that moment, he wasn’t pursuing any political goals; instead, he was involved with a reality TV program and managing his real estate ventures, as Curtis clarified.
He was quite vocal and always had many opinions on various topics, which often caught people off guard. One wouldn’t have necessarily expected it from him. Generally, individuals who aspire to hold positions like the President or Prime Minister of a country tend to have political backgrounds.
‘Trump had nothing to do with politics until he decided he was going to. It’s bizarre, it’s nuts.’
Stone placed fourth after being fired by Trump.
Following the criticism he received from fans, Stone explained himself regarding his final appearance as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia.

Last season, the vocal food expert faced criticism from viewers for being perceived as overly critical and unpleasant towards the contestants.
Curtis explained to Yahoo Lifestyle how his judging approach evolved leading up to the finale, emphasizing that the contestants respected his candid feedback, which often came across as firm.
He often considers himself like a mentor in the kitchen, it’s crucial to gauge your team members’ abilities, know their current skill levels, and apply appropriate pressure accordingly, he explained.
‘And last season, I had a group of guys that were really wanting it, really wanting it a lot.
I passed it on to them, encouraged them to stretch beyond their limits, and overall, I believe they appreciated the experience. It turned out to be a truly enjoyable adventure for everyone involved.
In 2012, Curtis first graced our screens on MasterChef, specifically on the MasterChef Australia All-Stars edition. Since then, he’s become a regular contender on the show.
