Actress-turned-Twitch-streamer Grace Van Dien, who retired from acting following a challenging stint in Hollywood, is set to introduce a new Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) character that will take over her live streams. Known for her role as Chrissy Cunningham on Stranger Things, Grace decided to transition into the world of virtual streaming.
During that timeframe, she began streaming live on Twitch, engaging in conversations and playing video games. Her preferred genre is first-person shooters, including VALORANT, Overwatch 2, and Apex Legends.
Grace Van Dien’s new project
As per Grace on platform X, this development has been underway for quite some time now. The specifics behind it remain unclear, but Grace has expressed her enthusiasm to her followers, hinting that she is eager to share more about her model. To mark this new chapter in her career, Grace has launched a VTuber bundle giveaway which is open to everyone. Official debut
Grace’s VTuber character is set to make its debut on March 22, following a postponement of the initial date. On her Twitch channel “bluefi,” you can join in on a subathon and enjoy a range of rewards. From 2 p.m. PST until 8 p.m. PST, Grace will host a variety of activities including conversations, playing diverse games, viewing videos, and evaluating other VTuber characters.
Fans are intrigued by this latest stage in her career, but they’re also disappointed because it implies she won’t participate in live streaming, interacting, cooking sessions, and “get ready with me” videos anymore. However, take comfort in the fact that Grace has hinted at considering some ideas, as she mentioned to a fan, “perhaps some cooking streams…… I’ll wing it.” This suggests that she will ponder over these possibilities.
