Watch Tom Hardy’s action-packed trailer for new global crime drama
An action-packed first trailer for Tom Hardy’s new global crime drama MobLand has been released.
The crime family-centric series on Paramount+ is the creation of Guy Ritchie. In this production, Tom Hardy portrays a character who serves as a problem solver for a powerful criminal organization run by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren’s characters, Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.
In the video, we meet Conrad, a family-oriented individual, who issues a cautionary statement through his narration: “Should anyone harm my loved ones, it would be wise to offer a prayer for your own safety.
He provides viewers with some insights into their secretive lifestyle, asserting that he has someone to handle those who disregard their position. In this scenario, we encounter Hardy’s character Harry Da Souza and Mirren’s character Maeve, the mastermind behind their operations.
“Power is a hungry thing, and there’s always a rat bastard looking to take what’s mine,” he adds.
Later, Jan (Joanne Froggatt), Harry’s wife, inquires if working for the family feels similar to the strict and oppressive regime of the Taliban. Harry responds by saying: “When Conrad becomes fully engaged, you’ll find yourself longing for those circumstances.
Following the initial reveal of ‘MobLand’ last week through a collection of images, we now have a sneak peek at the trailer, showcasing appearances by Hardy, Mirren, and Brosnan.
The cast also features Paddy Considine from “House of the Dragon,” who plays the Harrigans’ son Kevin; Lara Pulver from “Maternal” as his wife Bella; Jasmine Jobson, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber, all of whom hail from the series “Top Boy.
The show will make its premiere on March 30th this month, with Hardy serving as one of the executive producers, joined by Ritchie in that role as well.
Last week, we caught our initial glimpse into the Netflix series titled “Havoc,” created by Gareth Evans, who is renowned for his work on “Gangs of London.
MobLand will premiere on Paramount+ on March 30.
