Diablo IV ‘March of the Goblins’ Event Returns From Today

Diablo IV is scheduled to reintroduce the March of the Goblins event later today, introducing six new uncommon goblin types to locate. Among these are an exceptionally rare goblin that rewards a Mythic Unique Item and a Resplendent Spark, which can be utilized to create another unique item.

During the March of the Goblins, these mischievous creatures will invade Sanctuary, boosting the odds of meeting treasure goblins and greed shrines. Additionally, a fresh reward system filled with assorted items for you to acquire will be introduced. As your standing in this event escalates, there’s a greater likelihood that vanquished goblins will drop even more loot.

To attain the highest level on the reward system, you’ll be granted the previously mentioned Radiant Spark. Keep an eye out for some new adversaries: the green Odious Ector, who provides crafting materials and Obducite for Masterwork enhancements in Torment Tiers; and the golden Gilded Baron, who drops generous amounts of Gold.

In the game, Diamond Prym gems scatter Gems shards, Runes, and in higher difficulty levels such as Torment Tiers and Undercity Tributes, Prism fragments; purple Curious Murl drops Murl’s Bag of Obols, offering a significant number of Murmuring Obsols (you can still obtain the bag even if your Obol capacity is full); and blue Gelatinous Syrus splits into two goblins when defeated, then further divides into three. Eliminate the smallest goblins in a group, and you’ll be rewarded with a Legendary item, gold, boss materials, and a chance at an elixir.

In summary, the legendary character named Fedric is a mythic purple goblin, extremely rare according to Blizzard, with roughly a 0.01% chance of meeting him. Slaying him rewards you with a Mythic Unique Item and Resplendent Spark. Until the March of the Goblins event concludes, all six goblins will persist, but your chances of finding them are significantly increased from today until then.

The “March of the Goblins” feature in Diablo IV starts today and will run until March 11th. This event is included within the ongoing “Season of Witchcraft.
