In this latest update, VALORANT patch 10.04 brings excitement by introducing a fresh Agent, changing the map rotation, and refining some existing characters’ abilities.
Introducing Season 2025 Act 2! This update marks a significant change in the game, bringing about a fresh Duelist character, modifications to the Ascent map, adjustments to various Agents, and numerous additional improvements.
Let’s dive in to what you can expect when the update goes live.
VALORANT patch 10.04 kicks off with the introduction of Waylay
During the preliminary match at VALORANT Masters Bangkok, we had our initial encounter with Waylay. This character moves swiftly and over long distances by utilizing light-based skills, also immobilizing opponents momentarily to facilitate easier takedowns.
You can check out all of her abilities as she arrives with VALORANT patch 10.04:

- Tejo
- Guided Salvo – Damage decreased from 70 to 65. Now does 50% damage to non-player objects.
VALORANT patch 10.04 map rotation
In the VALORANT 10.04 update, there’s a fresh rotation for the game maps. Earlier, we were only aware of the map exchange, but they didn’t mention any adjustments to the map called Ascent until now.
Ascent and Icebox have been included, while Abyss and Bind have been excluded from the current map selection for a change that might be favorable to most players.
- B Main
- Changed part of the B Main wall along the B Lane to a non-pennable wall.
In VALORANT patch 10.4 for computers, you’ll find all the significant changes. For additional bug fixes and console-exclusive Agent updates, check out the complete patch notes.
I tried to make it more conversational while keeping the information clear and concise.
