The mute’s anthem, Song for the Mute, is teaming up with adidas once more to unveil their fifth joint collection. Appropriately titled “Song for the Mute x adidas 005,” this new series highlights two distinct sneaker designs, available in three unique color schemes. Additionally, a streamlined clothing lineup is also included.

The new collection is inspired by rural living and earthy vocabulary, celebrating fundamental motifs through a thoughtfully selected color scheme and material choices. The Adistar Cushion, available in “Black,” “Clay,” and “Olive,” features a sleek, low-top design with technical construction. Its upper consists of a breathable mesh foundation reinforced by suede and pony hair. The iconic Three Stripes emblem is present on the inner part, crafted from brushed suede, while it’s polished to a satin finish on the side. Lastly, the shoe boasts a weathered outsole that adds to its aged appearance, finishing the design.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share my excitement about the revamped Superstar 82! This legendary sneaker has been given a delicate, touch-focused makeover, boasting vegetable-tanned suede, luxurious full-grain leather, and deep earthy tones in shades of browns, creams, and black. The custom-molded shell toe and antiqued metal eyelets add an ancient artifact charm to the design, and it’s available in colorways named “Toast,” “Milk,” and “Animal.

In this clothing collection, designs inspired by nomadic lifestyles carry over. Essential athleisure pieces like sweatpants, track jackets, T-shirts, and sweaters are given a fresh take with earthy colors, textures reminiscent of shepherd’s garments, and the use of acid wash finishes.

The collaboration between SFTM and adidas, known as the SFTM x adidas 005 collection, is set to drop on Song for the Mute on March 7. Additionally, a broader global launch will take place starting March 13.
