The popular BBC historical series, titled “Gunpowder” featuring Kit Harington and Liv Tyler, will be leaving Netflix in the near future.
A three-act play narrates the events of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, where Robert Catesby (played by Harington) masterminded a group of conspirators to attempt the murder of King James I of England (portrayed by Derek Riddell).
First aired back in 2017, the historical drama has been accessible on Netflix for some time, but its availability is set to end soon as it’s now listed under the “Leaving Soon” section. If fans want to catch the series on Netflix before it disappears, they should act promptly.

Not much is publicly known about the events leading up to and following November 5, but in ‘Gunpowder’, we delve into the entire storyline.
