Jeff Bezos Stumbles at Jay-Z’s Oscars Party
On Sunday evening, Jeff Bezos experienced a minor stumble upon his arrival at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Oscar awards party held at LA’s Chateau Marmont.
61-year-old Amazon tycoon and billionaire, Jeff Bezos, elegantly stepped out of his vehicle during a lavish event, accompanied by his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, and music sensation, Katy Perry.
In a surprising turn of events, the billionaire, valued at approximately $227 billion, seemed taken aback as he lost balance and his legs gave way. However, swift assistance from a meticulous attendant prevented him from falling completely.
The gentleman who graced the Vanity Fair gala earlier tonight was quite dashing in his sleek black velvet attire.
Sanchez, 55, stunned in a formfitting, strapless white gown with a feathered hem and train.
Perry, 40, showed off her incredible frame in a mirrored strappy gown as she joined the couple.
In May 2023, during their getaway in the beautiful South of France, Jeff proposed to Lauren.
Their engagement came four years after they went public with their relationship in early 2019.
2025 Oscars Night will forever be etched in my memory as the moment I felt the bitter sting of defeat. As a dedicated fan and admirer of Demi Moore’s exceptional talent, I couldn’t help but feel a pang in my heart when Mikey Madison claimed the Best Actress award, leaving Demi Moore feeling crushed. It was a night where Anora reigned supreme with an impressive five wins, including the prestigious Best Picture title. Yet, amidst Anora’s triumphs, I couldn’t help but mourn for Demi, who undeniably deserved her moment in the spotlight.
At the age of 62, Demi had been the undisputed favorite, and her frustration was evident as the young contender Mikey, only 25, was announced as the winner before a surprised crowd at the 97th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
On Sunday evening, Zoe Saldana was among the notable winners, receiving the Best Supporting Actress accolade for her portrayal of Emilia Perez, a character that sparked controversy.
In the end, Adrien Brody outshone Timothée Chalamet in their Best Actor competition, delivering an impressive performance in “The Brutalist” that ultimately won him the accolade.
Kieran Culkin kicked off the evening with a Best Supporting Actor win for A Real Pain.
Demi appeared tense, clutching her jaw, when they didn’t announce her name, yet she managed a quiet “Nice” as she cheered for Mikey’s triumphant victory.
Demi’s victory in the actress category at The Substance film was quite unexpected, as she had previously won the leading actress title at many significant pre-Oscars ceremonies.
In the movie Anora, which has a $6 million budget and earned Sean Baker the title of Best Director, Mikey plays the role of an escort.

She recognised the sex worker community in a touching acceptance speech.
She expressed a desire once more to acknowledge and pay tribute to the sex worker community. Indeed, she intends to do so and remain their supporter and ally moving forward.
‘Meeting all the remarkable individuals, particularly the women, from that community, has been a truly memorable part of this extraordinary journey for me.’
At the conclusion of the evening, our film was honored with the prestigious Best Picture Award, outshining The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, I’m Still Here, The Nickel Boys, The Substance, and Wicked.
Sean Baker, the screenwriter and director for Anora, received recognition with three awards: Best Original Screenplay, Excellence in Film Editing, and the prestigious Best Director accolade.
The movie revolves around Ani, a young escort living in Brooklyn, who unexpectedly marries the son of a wealthy Russian businessman. However, their whimsical romance faces challenges when word reaches Russia, prompting his parents to travel to New York to void the marriage.
Adrien Brody took home his second ever Best Actor award earlier in the night.
Instead of halting the exit tune, the 51-year-old actor paused the music when he was honored for his role in The Brutalist.

He emerged victorious over a remarkable lineup that included Timothée Chalamet in “A Complete Unknown”, Colman Domingo in “Sing Sing”, Ralph Fiennes in “Conclave”, and Sebastian Stan in “The Apprentice”.
Adrian previously won Best Actor for his work on classic film The Piano back in 2003.
Zoe Saldaña quieted the uproar over her movie, Emilia Pérez, when she clinched the Best Supporting Actress award.
The show hit a high note as the 46-year-old American actress was crowned for the Netflix film.
Monica Barbaro, Ariana Grande, Felicity Jones, and Isabella Rossellini each overcame challenges in their respective films: “A Complete Unknown”, “Wicked”, “The Brutalist”, and “Conclave”.
Or, in a more conversational tone:
Monica Barbaro, Ariana Grande, Felicity Jones, and Isabella Rossellini all conquered obstacles in their movies titled “A Complete Unknown”, “Wicked”, “The Brutalist”, and “Conclave”.
Zoe was the very first actress of Dominican heritage to win an Oscar, and she took care to acknowledge her ancestors for their role in creating a path towards a thriving acting career in the United States.
Emilia Pérez found herself under intense scrutiny following the uncovering of offensive and bigoted tweets by her co-star Karla Sofía Gascón, which were more contemporary in nature.
Despite going to great lengths to no longer sponsor Gascón’s travels for award ceremonies, she was still present at the Oscars.

The award show started out in fine form as Kieran Culkin took home the first award of the night.
The events began when the 42-year-old actor was awarded the title ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role’ for his performance in the movie “A Real Pain.
He emerged victorious against a strong competition that included Yura Borisov (Anora), Edward Norton (A Complete Unknown), Guy Pearce (The Brutalist), and his fellow Succession cast member, Jeremy Strong (The Apprentice).
In a triumphant turn of events, Paul Tazewell made history by becoming the first Black man to win the Achievement in Costume Design award, following the success of the film “Wicked”.
