I was so excited to finally watch Misbehaviour! It’s a really fun British comedy-drama, and I’m a huge fan of both Jessie Buckley – she was amazing in Hamnet – and Lesley Manville, who I’ve loved in things like Sherwood and The Crown. Good news is, it’s now streaming on BBC iPlayer after being on TV this week!
The film takes place in 1970 and tells the story of a group involved with the Women’s Liberation Movement. They decide to disrupt the Miss World competition, and the movie explores the consequences of their actions.
The film features a talented cast including Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Keeley Hawes, Phyllis Logan, Greg Kinnear, and Rhys Ifans.

The film Misbehaviour received very positive reviews, earning an 87% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 104 reviews.
According to The Guardian, this strange but true story from pop culture is uniquely British in its humor and is told with a lot of charm and fun. The film effectively shows how the people involved were both intensely dedicated to what they were doing and hilariously absurd, much like the comedy troupe Monty Python.
