Mick Jagger’s Wild Night: Posing with Stars and Partying at the Vanity Fair Oscars Bash!

On Sunday evening, Mick Jagger was in top shape, mingling with big-name celebrities and television personalities at the bustling Vanity Fair Oscars Gala, which took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Los Angeles.

81-year-old Rolling Stones musician attended the event, held after the 97th Academy Awards at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, accompanied by his stylish partner Melanie Hamrick, who is 37 years old. The gathering was organized by Radhika Jones.

Indeed, Mick was well-versed in cutting loose, as evident when he struck a stylish pose alongside Melanie and actress Sydney Sweeney – who graced the Rolling Stones’ music video for their 2023 hit single “Angry.

Simultaneously, the artist renowned for “Satisfaction” was also seen enjoying at a high-profile event alongside celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Serena Williams.

At the party, Mick could be seen warmly welcoming Sarah Paulson, as well as taking photos alongside model Damian Hurley and movie producer Victoria Pearman, all with evident pleasure.

At the lively party, the musician had a nice chat with Jeff Bezos from Amazon and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez. The quartet then smiled for a delightful group photograph.

While he also took the opportunity to pose for a fun snap with pop star Rita Ora. 

Besides Mick and Melanie, Mick’s son, Lucas (age 25), who is his child with the Brazilian lingerie model Luciana Gimenez Morad, was also present. At the event, there were heartwarming moments of bonding between the father and son.

Previously, Mick made quite an energetic show alongside his partner Melanie, striking poses on the red carpet for Vanity Fair before entering.

The star linked fingers with his longtime love as they arrived on the red carpet together.

Overflowing with affection, the enamored pair found themselves constantly holding hands while exchanging passionate displays of affection (PDA) at the glitzy event filled with celebrities.

In 2014, they had their first encounter; it was during a time when both the Rolling Stones were performing in Tokyo and the American Ballet Theater were also there.

The couple elevated their blossoming relationship a step further when the musician asked her to join him while his band was performing in Zurich.

The couple welcomed their son, Devereaux, eight, in 2016. 

During an interview with The Times, Melanie mentioned that the significant age difference between them, spanning 44 years, was not a concern or topic they had pondered upon.

She pointed out that everyone will have their own viewpoints. Regardless of your stage in life, if you concern yourself with others’ perspectives, you may encounter issues and find yourself overanalyzing them.

In her debut novel, First Position, published author Melanie skillfully blended her passion for dance and literature. Similarly, her sophomore work, Unraveled, also showcases this unique fusion, hitting the shelves in August 2024.

It appears the couple will be staying close to home in 2025. 

According to reports from The Times, the band has chosen not to embark on a UK and European tour for this year, after their planned tour across the United States in 2024. However, they may return to touring again in 2026.

The 2025 Oscars started out in fine form as Kieran Culkin took home the first award of the night.

I suppose it’s time for another child… or three. As I listened, I joked, “Really? I’d prefer four.” To which she replied, “I’ll give you four when you win an Oscar.” (This conversation is truthfully recounted.)

As we reminisce, dear one, let me recall an instance when I extended my hand, and you graciously reciprocated the gesture. That moment, my darling, has slipped my mind until this instant. A Real Headache – This film, penned and helmed by Jesse Eisenberg, centers around Eisenberg and Culkin as estranged cousins. They embark on a journey through Poland to pay tribute to their cherished grandmother; however, their past conflicts reemerge amidst the tapestry of their family’s history.

In an outstanding achievement, Paul Tazewell emerged victorious as the first African-American male to win the Achievement in Costume Design award for his exceptional work on Wicked.

60-year-old American theater, dance, opera, and television costume designer faced competition from:

During his heartfelt acceptance speech, Paul expressed deep emotion as he exclaimed: ‘This is truly incredible! Thank you, Academy, for bestowing upon me such a momentous honor. As the first Black man to win the costume design award for my work on Wicked, I feel an immense sense of pride about this achievement.’

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the UK for the stunning work you’ve done. I wouldn’t have achieved this without your support. My muses from Oz, Cynthia and Ariana, I adore you both so deeply. A huge thank you to all the rest of the cast – thank you, thank you, thank you – for putting your trust in me to breathe life into your characters. This is truly everything!

Another title that might interest you is “The Substance,” created by Coralie Fargeat.

When it came to the best Adapted Screenplay category it was Peter Straughan who won for Conclave.

This year, Emilia Pérez is topping the nominees list with a total of 13 nods across various categories such as Best Picture, Best Actress for Karla Sofía Gascón, Best Supporting Actress for Zoe Saldaña, Best Director for Jacques Audiard, Adapted Screenplay and Original Song.

In this rephrased version: The main role is taken by Gascón, portraying a character formerly known as a Mexican drug lord; now, she transitions into a transgender woman and orchestrates her own demise to reemerge as a positive influence on society. Meanwhile, Saldaña plays a lawyer with questionable morals who assists in establishing the protagonist’s new identity.

In the end, The Brutalist came in second with a total of 10 nominations across several categories. These included recognition for Best Picture, Director (for Brady Corbet), Actor (for Adrien Brody), Supporting Actor (for Guy Pearce), Supporting Actress (for Felicity Jones), and Original Screenplay.
