Kylie Jenner’s Shocking Snub to Elton John Sparks Outrage at Oscars!

At the 97th Academy Awards in Hollywood on Sunday, Kylie Jenner faced criticism for her alleged unfriendly conduct backstage.

During a brief intermission, Timothée Chalamet, the 27-year-old reality star’s Oscar-nominated partner, warmly embraced Sir Elton John within the Dolby Theatre. Then, he spun around to present the renowned musician to her.

Instead of approaching the 77-year-old multiple award winner personally, Kylie chose to sit in the front row, where the EGOT champion graciously kissed her outstretched hand as a sign of respect.

@ashleyimholte expressed dismay with her comment on People’s post about the awkward incident, saying something like, ‘Uh oh uh oh, stand up for Sir Elton John!’

Instagram user @marmealy wrote: ‘Money can’t buy manners or respect.’

@mscakes2013 commented, ‘That’s Sir Elton John.’ When addressing him, it’s customary to rise as a sign of respect.

Jenner confidently rose from her seat in her stylish, black Miu Miu gown to welcome both Monica Barbaro and Elle Fanning, the co-stars of her boyfriend’s film, A Complete Unknown.

In a casual setting, the founder of Kylie Cosmetics was spotted engaging in friendly conversation with Edward Norton, who starred alongside Timothée Chalamet in A Complete Unknown, as well as Norton’s spouse, Shauna Robertson.

Nevertheless, this didn’t deter Kylie from enthusiastically kissing Chalamet while the long-married pair observed.

Despite this, Kylie continued to passionately kiss Chalamet as the couple who had been married for 12 years looked on.

jenner and the two-time oscar nominee haven’t publicly confirmed their relationship status by attending events together or posting on social media, but jenner escorted his mom, nicole flender, on the red carpet on sunday.

Timothée Chalamet and the producer-star of The Kardashians first encountered each other in 2019 at Nobu Malibu, though their relationship didn’t start until April 2023. They share a mutual friend with designer Haider Ackermann.

Previously, Timothée Chalamet has been linked romantically with Lily-Rose Depp, who starred alongside him in The King; Eiza González, his co-star in Extrapolations; and Lourdes Leon, the elder daughter of Madonna.

In a surprising turn of events, the lead actor in Dune: Part Two, who was quite dapper in his custom-made yellow Givenchy suit, didn’t take home the best actor award, which went to Adrien Brody from The Brutalist. However, all the nominated actors graciously posed for group photos with each other.

Timothée Chalamet won accolades for his depiction of Bob Dylan at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Gotham Awards, Boston Film Critics Society, Astra Film Fest Awards, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, North Texas Film Critics Association, and Vancouver Film Critics Circle.

In the end, Elton John and Brandi Carlile’s song “Never Too Late” from their Disney+ documentary didn’t win the award for best original song. Instead, the trophy went to the song “El Mal” by Emilia Pérez, which was created by Clément Ducol, Camille, and Jacques Audiard.
