On Tuesday, Kylie finally spoke out about the passing of Jesus, expressing on Instagram, ‘Jesus was not just my friend; he was a beacon of light in my life, a provider of joy, comfort, affection, and unyielding encouragement.’

These nominations encompassed recognitions for Best Picture, Director (for Brady Corbet), Actor (Adrien Brody), Supporting Actor (Guy Pearce), Supporting Actress (Felicity Jones), and Original Screenplay.

In this retelling, Brody portrays a Jewish Hungarian architect named László Tóth, who makes his way to America after enduring the Holocaust. The sweeping historical drama chronicles his struggle to bring his artistic aspirations to life amidst clashes with the selfish whims of his affluent patron (Pearce).

In the awards ceremony, Wicked received 10 nominations across various categories. Among these are nods for Best Picture, Actress (recognizing Cynthia Erivo), and Supporting Actress (nominating Ariana Grande).

The hit musical being referred to is a reinterpretation of just the initial segment of the same titled musical, serving as a prequel to “The Wizard of Oz.” In this version, Erivo portrays Elphaba, eventually known as the Wicked Witch of the West, while Grande plays Galinda Upland, who transforms into Glinda the Good.

Among the other contenders for the top photo awards are Anora, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Chapter Two, I’m Still Here, The Nickel Boys, and The Substance.

As a lifestyle expert, I must say, the highly anticipated competition for the best actor in a leading role took an unexpected turn a week before the Oscars at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
