Rocco Ritchie Celebrates Madonna with Epic DJ Set at BRITs Afterparty!

On Saturday evening, Rocco Ritchie honorably acknowledged his mother, Madonna, during his DJ set at the BRITs Warner afterparty held in London.

At the swanky event hosted at Claridge’s, I, a passionate enthusiast, showcased an array of my unique remixes from the iconic discography of Madonna.

Madonna shared Rocco with director Guy Ritchie who she was married to from 2000 – 2008.

At the party, Rocco performed for a full hour with intense enthusiasm, evident from his energetic performance in the booth. He was dressed in a black vest, showcasing his toned physique.

He looked like he was in the zone with his headphones on as he played the tracks at the event.

In the late evening, he stood for photos while donning a large fur coat, a leather shirt, matching dark pants, and polished brown shoes.

At the 2025 BRIT Awards, comedian Jack Whitehall served as the host once again, making it his fifth time in charge of the event. He had previously hosted the show in the years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

This year, the much-anticipated event filled with celebrities was held yet again at London’s O2 Arena, and the stunning trophy was designed by the gifted artist Gabriel Moses.

The night featured massive performances from Ezra Collective and special guest Jorja Smith.

They became part of a lively roster featuring artists such as Jade Thirlwall, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Fender, Lola Young, Teddy Swims, and The Last Dinner Party.

Charli XCX was originally set to perform but decided not to despite months of negotiations.

Based on information from a reliable insider, the decision was made because she started concentrating more on getting ready for the Grammy Awards that happened recently in this month.

In the 2025 BRIT Awards, the pop artist earned a notable five nominations, with Dua Lipa not far behind, having been nominated in four different categories.

Ultimately, Charli’s chart-topping album BRAT cleaned up at the awards show and won every one of the five categories she was up for.

This past summer, the acclaimed British artist, now 32 years old, was honored with several prestigious awards for her chart-topping album, which turned into a cultural sensation: Best Album, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Dance Act, and Best Songwriting.

Charlie’s remarkable victory this time echoed Raye’s success from the previous year’s event, where the 27-year-old became historic by winning a record-breaking six awards.

At age 29, Dua, a multiple BRIT award winner (seven in total), faced off against Charli in several categories including Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Pop Act, and Album of the Year. Her hits “Training Season” and “Radical Optimism” were the contenders in these respective categories.

35-year-old American sensation Taylor Swift went head-to-head with Billie Eilish in the International Artist of the Year category, alongside Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and other notable artists, while also vying for the International Song of the Year award.

Sabrina received her initial BRIT award after winning the prestigious Global Success honor, bestowed upon her by the renowned actress Millie Bobby Brown at age 21.

The American singer playfully acknowledged her gratitude towards her British fans, stating that a nation predominantly known for its tea consumption had overwhelmingly streamed her popular song Espresso to the max.

Although “Banger” took a close second place, the title of Best International Song Of The Year went to Chappell Roan for her self-composed hit song, “Good Luck, Babe”.

27-year-old artist who sings “Hot to Go” eventually surpassed musical heavyweights like Beyoncé and Billie Eilish to claim the title of Best International Artist.

The winners of five genres’ awards (Alternative Rock, Dance, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap, Pop, and R&B) were chosen exclusively through a public vote on WhatsApp for the first time ever.

Sam Fender was announced as the winner for Alternative Rock Act for a second time.

This is his third BRIT Award, following his wins for the Rising Star Award (formerly known as the Critics’ Choice Award) in 2019 and the Alternative Rock Act category in 2022.

In an amusing manner, he accepted the award, remarking, “You can see I’m somewhat anxious. I’m not nearly as tipsy as my last appearance.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our fantastic fans, who are simply the best in the world! My love goes out to all of you in Newcastle as well.

‘Huge thanks to my band. Without them, I’m just a mad person shouting at the walls. Love you all.’

In an unexpected turn of events, Jade Thirlwall, aged 32, surprised many by clinching the title of Best Pop Act, marking her initial solo win at the Brit Awards, previously held by the Brat singer.

During a heartfelt address, Jade expressed her gratitude towards Jordan Stephens (her boyfriend) and her bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock (who are part of Little Mix).

Expressing heartfelt appreciation, she declared: “You all mean the world to me! This award wouldn’t be mine without your support. You significantly impacted my life, and I am deeply thankful for it.

Credit goes to the globally acclaimed rappers Central Cee, Stormzy, and Dave for effectively showcasing British rap at this year’s awards.

Central Cee received recognition across multiple categories, including Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, and the Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act.

In a stylish performance, Stormzy claimed his fourth BRIT Award when he was named the winner of the Hip Hop/Grime/Rap category while donning sunglasses.

He expressed that he believes Central Cee was the top rap artist of the year, yet he’s deeply appreciative. This moment, where he’s receiving an award, is remarkably amusing to him.

‘I’m wearing shades because I’ve got a bruised cornea, I mashed my eye playing paddle.’

In a notable achievement, the jazz quintet Ezra Collective, who were awarded the Mercury Prize in 2023, received four nominations across various categories. These nominations include Best New Artist, Group Of The Year, Alternative Rock Act, and Album Of The Year, all for their album Dance, No One’s Watching.

In these categories, The Last Dinner Party served as their stiffest rivals, being nominated for Best New Artist, Group of the Year, Alternative Rock Act, and Album of the Year as well.

After a successful initial performance, The Last Dinner Party, the recipients of the 2024 Rising Star Awards, were later honored with the prestigious title of Best New Artist.

Taking to the stage the fans gushed: ‘This is truly the biggest honour of our lives!’.

Ezra Collective was crowned as the Group of the Year, ending the event with a captivating performance.
