Elsa Hosk has announced she is six months pregnant with her second child. 

The 37-year-old Swedish model revealed she’s expecting a baby with her fiancé, Tom Daly, in a surprise Instagram post on Thursday. This is her second child; the couple already have a five-year-old daughter named Tuulikki. The post marked the first time she publicly showed off her growing baby bump.

She announced she’s expecting a baby, sharing a cute photo with her daughter and revealing she’s been pregnant for six months!

Elsa later shared another glimpse of her growling stomach with the caption: ‘Surprise’. 

People quickly sent their congratulations after the announcement, including fellow model Ashley Graham, who wrote, ‘So excited for you all!!! Wonderful news!!!!’, and Victoria’s Secret model Vita Sidorkina-Morabito, who simply said, ‘Congrats’.

Fans expressed their joy and congratulations, with comments like ‘So happy for you!!!’, ‘obsessed! And congratulations, mama!’, ‘Congrats, momma!’, and ‘Congratulations! These photos are beautiful and cool!’

Elsa recently announced her engagement to Tom, her partner of many years, after he proposed in a romantic, candlelit setting.

Elsa announced her engagement with a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing photos of her stunning oval-cut diamond ring. She revealed the proposal happened in a Swedish wildflower garden, a special place connected to their ten-year relationship, and in their city apartment where they first met. She tagged her fiancé, Tom Daly, in the post.

In one picture, Tom is kneeling with candles all around, and Elsa looks both shocked and incredibly happy, covering her face with her hands.

In another scene, he opens a Tiffany’s box, revealing the beautiful oval-cut diamond ring he selected for her.

Oh my goodness, you guys, I was just chatting with Elsa and she flashed the most incredible ring! She was beaming, practically glowing, and leaned in to show it off – it’s a real showstopper! You could just feel her happiness radiating, and she was sharing the moment with everyone around her.

Their love was clear in every photo, filled with kisses, hugs, and laughter as they began a new phase of their lives together.

For the proposal, Elsa chose a stylish crimson blouse with high-waisted trousers, and Daly looked polished in a classic grey suit.

They celebrated the special occasion with a cake that said ‘Congratulations Elsa & Tom!’ on top.

Afterward, they even celebrated at a small restaurant with their closest loved ones.

Jeweler Kegan Fisher estimates the ring is around 10 carats and likely costs between $750,000 and $1 million, according to InStyle.

Elsa shared in a 2022 Vogue Scandinavia interview that she and Tom initially met at a farewell dinner for him, held at the popular New York restaurant Indochine.

At the time, he was preparing to relocate to Stockholm to work for Acne Studios.

Elsa explained that she met him unexpectedly at a party, where they happened to be seated next to each other. Both of them were already seeing other people, but she remembers feeling an instant connection with him – it was love at first sight.

Tom, however, remembers it differently.

He jokingly said she always claimed they were meant to be together, but he wasn’t sure if that was entirely true.

He claims he was actually available that night and even asked Elsa if she could introduce him to her friends. “She didn’t,” he said with a laugh.

After several years, a surprising coincidence brought Tom and Elsa together. Tom returned to New York to start his athletic eyewear and clothing company, District Vision, and ended up opening his store on the same street where Elsa lived.

Eventually, she asked him out.

She explained that he was unlike anyone she’d dated before. He wasn’t controlling or interested in showing her off as a status symbol; he was just a genuinely nice, funny, and happy person. She admitted she quickly became very attracted to him.

I have to admit, watching him talk about it was so relatable! He said he really hesitated before making a move, and it actually took him six whole weeks to work up the courage. He described walking her to the door, then just… keeping walking, too nervous to say anything! It was honestly sweet, seeing how much thought he put into it, even if he was a bundle of nerves.

Apparently, patience paid off: ‘It worked,’ he said.
