Linda from The Traitors Announces Exciting TV Comeback and Reveals Reality Show Dream!
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the talented Linda Rands, known for her role in “The Traitors,” has unveiled her plans for a small screen comeback. She’s also spilled the beans about why she would never have betrayed Minah Shannon on the show, providing an exciting glimpse into the mind of one of our favorite characters.
In the third season of the widely-loved BBC program, the 72-year-old former opera singer gained immense popularity due to her distinctive move – a head turn – when host Claudia Winkleman uttered the word “traitors” in the first episode. This gesture turned into a viral internet sensation.
Linda’s initial television appearance may have been her debut, yet she has made clear that she has no intention of disappearing from our screens. She has, in fact, already secured another acting role on-screen for the future.
To TopMob, Linda disclosed that she’s been enlisted for a brief role in a humorous Comic Relief sketch with a hint of the show “Traitors” theme.
She shared that she’s participating in an event for Comic Relief, and it promises to be a lot of enjoyable fun! She’s quite excited about it.
She hasn’t revealed the details of her part, but she assured fans: ‘Rest assured, there will definitely be an intriguing twist in it!’
Linda, while discussing their Nespresso collaboration as partners, further disclosed the one reality TV contest she dreams of participating in.
She expressed her desire for her Traitors fellow actor, Reverend Lisa Coupland, to join forces with her as a partner in Hunted – an authentic adventure game where participants elude a group of skilled trackers.
She expressed that it seems enjoyable to her to participate in a show similar to Hunted, perhaps alongside Lisa. She finds the idea amusing. She believes they would suit each other well on such a show.
I’d likely greet them with a wave and a “I’m here” as that’s usually my style, but it would be even more exciting to participate in such an event – it would be a blast!
‘Or something on Loose Women or This Morning, I wouldn’t mind doing that!’
During a post-show discussion about her experience on The Traitors, Linda shared insights into the close bond she formed with her fellow contestant Minah, aged 29, whom she hoped would reach the finale.
In a self-preserving move, Minah broke Linda’s trust and eliminated her from the program, all under Linda’s consent, as the situation shifted against them.
Even though Linda was eliminated from the contest, she expressed that she harbors no ill will towards Minah. In fact, if the situation had been reversed, Linda admitted she wouldn’t have betrayed Minah either.

When asked if she would have turned on Minah, she replied: ‘No, I couldn’t have done that.
It’s likely that we both wouldn’t have been separated, as I would have picked someone else on a whim, and she was never my choice.
She stated: “I had wanted to see it through with Minah, that was my primary intention. However, when I sensed that things were turning towards me, I told her ‘If you think it’s heading my way, please vote for me so I can avoid a position where you might seem questionable.’
‘I really wanted her to go to the end, but hey, it didn’t happen.’
Initially, the three original Traitors shared a bond, with Armani Gouveia being one of them. However, Linda expressed her wish that Kasim ‘Kas’ Ahmed had been part of this group of betrayers as well.
She confessed that she believed Kas could have excelled as a Traitor, given her conviction that he would have done a fantastic job in that role.
He’s extraordinarily smart and always thinking ahead; I believe he could have excelled as a Traitor given his strategic mind.
Following her elimination, Linda, like many others, was equally astounded when Charlotte Berman, who was pretending to be Welsh, betrayed Minah by backstabbing her and then lied, a fact that was uncovered by Francesca ‘Frankie’ Rowan-Plowden upon discovering her true identity.

‘[I was most shocked by] Charlotte! I could not believe it,’ Linda admitted.
When Frankie discovered she was a Traitor, and Charlotte subsequently accused her, I wouldn’t have reacted in the same way.
‘I would have gone ”OK, fine I’m a Traitor”. She was so clever but I couldn’t have done that!’
Since her notable moment went viral on social media, Linda has gained stardom, yet she admitted that she wasn’t anticipating the extreme response from fans regarding her action – an incident she claims she can’t recall performing.
She exclaimed, “Things have been incredibly surprising and more than I could have imagined! Yet, it’s astounding. I am thoroughly enjoying each moment of it.
As a devoted fan who graced the stage merely to engage in the game, I must admit that I underestimated the profound influence this show wielded upon its viewers. Frankly, I hadn’t quite grasped its magnitude even after watching seasons one and two – it’s absolutely astonishing!
For those applying to season four, Linda emphasized the importance of staying authentic, discarding preconceived strategies, and developing a thick skin to handle the intensity of the panel discussions.
Linda made her remarks while advocating for her Nespresso project, a partnership between her and Minah to endorse the coffee company’s alliance with Oatly.

The ‘sisters’ are distributing complimentary Oat Flat Whites to passengers at train stations across the United Kingdom as a way to commemorate the introduction of their exclusive, oat milk-friendly coffee pods.
‘I love coffee and I also drink Oatly! So it was a perfect combination,’ Linda gushed.
After residing in the Netherlands for 34 years, it’s no surprise that they love their coffee! On an average day, you might find them consuming four to five cups in the morning alone.
The combination of coffee with Oatly tastes fantastic. It foams exceptionally well, and I must say, it’s quite delightful.
Nespresso has partnered with Oatly to produce a special coffee edition, tailored for oat milk enthusiasts, which can be brewed exclusively using the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machines. The capsule for this unique blend is available for purchase online at https://www.nespresso.com and in selected stores, but only for a limited period.
